Chapter 63: Getting some Gadgets at the Grunt Armory (3)

The large, heavy steel door of the armory slowly opened, accompanied by the familiar hydraulic sound. I took a few steps back from the intercom panel and looked at the entrance as it gradually revealed the inside of the armory to me... though I couldn't help but feeling worry.

I swallowed my own spit in both anticipation and nervousness... feeling a slight sense of déjà vu at the mere sight of the opening entrance. I braced myself for the blinding light of the "Gate of Light" that had always appeared whenever I ventured into a new, unknown place. Each time it did, it either led to an unfortunate outcome or challenged me with an almost impossible task...

But this time... there was none of that.
