Chapter 55: Aftermath and Factions

"You. Grunt No. 703. Surrender yourself!"

One of the Disciplinary Squadron grunts shouted at me as they surrounded me. Their stances were firm, and their eyes bore into me with unwavering intensity.

These Disciplinary Squadron grunts had been dealing with the bouncer grunts, who had suddenly popped out of nowhere and started an Arena Ring racket. The latter had used my two female grunt buddies as part of a gladiator show. I was still surprised by the suddenness of those Arena Racketing grunts, as if it was something they had either been planning for a long time or was an already common occurrence for them.

Given that my grunt buddies and I had just been admitted as newly recruited grunts for Max Brain, I'd bet on the latter.
