Chapter 166: The Blooms Await

My pants grow disturbingly tight as I watch him push the stroller around while he talks to the baby. I'm dying to go outside and be beside him, but then I know that doing that might spook him. I might come off as too aggressive. I already suspect that I might have been too pushy earlier. I get the idea that he might be the type to be seduced slowly. He might pill away if I come too strong too fast.

I notice one of the guards following him as I watch him. He calls him and Wesley stops pushing the stroller. I know the guard. He is an alpha called Reid. He strides towards Wesley, chest puffed out. Reid isn't one of my favorite guards. My stomach churns as I watch him approach Wesley. He is coarse and bossy. Even though most of the outside guards have the same character, there's something about Reid that doesn't sit well with me. The outside guards don't need to be refined with the workers who work inside the house.
