Chapter 36: A Little Too Aware

Minutes later, we finish eating and place our plates on the cart. Sasha wheels it out into the hallway. His eyes are droopy, probably from the wine. Or maybe he just feels sleepy. I'm not, however. Im wound up.

Ever since I learnt about him requesting dinner planned in our room, I couldn't stop worrying about what would ensue after dinner. When I stepped out of the bathroom and found him unbuttoning his shirt, a creepy thought came to my mind. That he would try something.

But he didn't. He hasn't so far.

"I need to shower." He says, unbuttoning the rest of his buttons.

"Alright." I swallow thickly, careful to not look too closely at his bare torso. He looks great and judging by his defined abs and bulging biceps, I can tell that he's been working out. It is now that I notice he has tattoos far up his arms, ones that I couldn't have noticed even when he rolled up his sleeves.
