Sasha must have noticed how uneasy I am. "It will work." He rumbles. "And we will all be fine, trust me." "I wouldn't have dragged Tyler here if I thought it wouldn't work. What else would be the reason to go through with all this nonsense?"

"I'm ready to step into Father's shoes. This is what I've been trained to do my entire life. Everything will be fine once we finalize the wedding. You need to trust me to handle this." He says with a proud tilt of his head.

"Yes." Lucia nods. She has to agree with her son because if she doesn't, who ever will?

"I don't envy you," Jericho says with a wry grin on his face.

Sasha shifts slightly and then turns his attention to me. "We can go see Father now if you're done eating."
