"I'm not dating him! I will never date him! I'm in love with you," Geale argued as he trailed behind Marnthe who was leading him into the office.

"Calm down, Geale," Marnthe chuckled. "You look cute together."

"No, we don't. Marnthe, I love you!"

"Okay, okay, I was just teasing you," Marnthe said, finally turning around to face him as they reached his desk. He plopped on the table and smiled at Geale who appeared visibly flustered and apologetic. "They say people who hate each other actually become lovers."

"Not us! Never us. Quin is not my type at all. I only have eyes for you."

Marnthe snickered. "I'm really not bothered by it, Geale."

"Good, because there's nothing romantic going on between Quin and I. It was all purely business."

"Purely business, huh? Alright. If you say so."

Geale smiled. He was about to wrap his arms around Marnthe as an assurance of his affections when the man stood up from the desk. Was he avoiding him?!
