Chapter 83: Souzane Reacts

Muzane gulped on hearing Aaron's allegations. He pushed back on his seat and darted his eyes around. Seeing every other person's eyes glued to him, his heart started to pound harshly inside his chest and he began to sweat profusely.

Muzane shifted back in his seat and opened his mouth to defend himself, only to find himself stammering.

"Wh-What are… what are you talking about!" he yelled, slamming his hand on the table.

Aaron didn't respond, instead, he smiled at him.

Muzane panicked and stood up. Immediately, he turned towards his elder sister, who at first was looking at her with a disdainful expression on her face. She was overcome by deep disappointment in her younger brother. To think that someone that she had known all his life and shared precious and priceless moments with would betray her.

That, in itself, was unthinkable.

Souzane, after a brief gaze at her brother, turned her face away from him and scoffed.
