Chapter 46: Witch's Chamber

With the weight of Ryan's revelation still hanging in the air, the group ventures deeper into the cave.

The air grows warmer as they progress. Not a scorching hot fire like before but a warm like when you get close to a bonfire.

The walls of the cave begin to glow faintly,. Ryan leads the way, his eyes alert for any sign of danger.

The others follow closely behind him. Their mind racing with possible danger they have to face a not long after this.

Liam gritted his teeth. His palm sweaty, he opened and closed it quick. Remarks about the sacrifice they had to make made him restless.

He turned toward Ryan who was leading them. In the Bridge before this, Liam knew that Ryan had intended to sacrifice them from the start to get the Gears they were now wearing.

The sword in his hand is a powerful weapon but there are bloods of those who have died on that Bridge there.

Just like that moment, Liam was sure that Ryan's purpose in bringing them here was to sacrifice him and two other people.
