The ambush from Moon Law had no effect whatsoever. All the demigods, having received advance intelligence, responded perfectly. Not a single one fell for the trap!

"More coming?"

"You're asking for death!"

The demigods smiled, feeling that their intelligence had completely outclassed the ambusher. Moreover... in the line of sight of many demigods, there appeared that same demigod shrouded in shadow energy once again.

"Let's take him down!" One demigod shouted angrily. The others were equally incensed. 

"Get him! That guy must have a ton of boss loot on him!" 

"Kill him first! He was the one who snatched the boss kill!" 

"This guy has been in Heavenly Curtain Canyon since early on; he probably triggered that special mechanism. He's killed dozens of bosses and amassed a fortune; we have to take him out!"
