Chapter 37: Meet-Up

I didn't give Trevor a response instantly, because I knew that would drive him crazy and would also make him want me more.

I answered his texts after three days, and before the third day, he had sent me over fifty texts. It was beyond ridiculous, the way he was sounding like he'd end up dying if I didn't respond to his text.

I ended up telling him we could meet up at a restaurant of my choice after a week. He didn't want to wait that long or that I didn't want to go to a restaurant of his choice and I ended up leaving him on read for two days. After that, he basically agreed to anything I said without questions or objections.

He still believed that I was still staying in a hotel, but I had already rented an apartment. It was small and my lack of furniture made the single room appear extremely large. I've also managed to get a job as a waiter.
