Chapter 31: crime
(Genryujin's POV)
"She's angry, give her space." Katori said as she sat next to me, "I'll speak to her when I can."
I nodded, "Fine..." I said
We sat on the floor inside Katori's room where she had Saito.
I looked in front of me and saw Saito, she was wearing a pink kimono as her beautiful pink hair was let loose. She was looking down, a sad look on her face.
"She hasn't said a word." Katori said, "Something happened, Gen-kun."
"Hm..." I said, "What happened, Saito? You're not yourself."
She looked up at me and gave me a weak smile, "Nothing." She said, "I'm fine."
"If it's about Soi Fon..." I said, "I'm sorry, I would love to talk about what happ-"
"No." She cut me off, "It's fine."
"Are you sure?" I asked
"Yes." she said as she ran her hand through her hair
I smiled, "Such beautiful hair, my dear." I said crawling over to her, "I remember the first time you let me touch it."
I sat next to her and wrapped my arm around her leaning in and smelling her hair, it smelled of cherry blossoms.
"Hm..." She merely said
"What's the matter, love?" I asked as I pulled her to me
"You think of me an idiot?" She asked, "I know…that you let the girl eavesdrop on you and Retsu, so you can shift her attention from me. There's also what you and Retsu spoke about."
I sighed, "Nothing gets past any of you, huh?"
"Whatever it is you plan, my love…." Katori said, "We deserve to know."
I rubbed my hair, "Oh...not this...." I said
Katori leaned in towards me, "Whatever it is you're hiding from Retsu and Soi Fon, you can tell us." She said with a smile, "We're no longer loyal to the Gotei, remember? We're loyal to you."
Saito nodded, "Although, you left me in prison for centuries." She said, "But she's right."
"Part of the reason I'm letting everyone walk all over me is so you can eventually be let go, Saito." I said leaning back slightly, "I'm doing this for you."
She narrowed her eye, "You could always break me out." She muttered
"I can't start a war." I said seriously, "Seriously, I am deeply sorry. I'll do anything to make it up to you, I mean it."
"Give me a child." She said out of nowhere, "I'll forgive you then. I mean that."
Katori gasped, "Oh." She said, "Saito-san...you're not married to him, though..."
"Then take me as your wife, Gen." Saito said as she placed her hands on my lap, "Please...."
I felt something wrong with her, her hands were shaking slightly. This wasn't her, she doesn't ask for a child out of nowhere. This was all too sudden, I had no idea how to react.
"Gen-kun and I have been trying for years, Saito-san." Katori said, "As his first wife, I can't let anyone bear his child before me."
I nodded, "Yea." I said, "Katori, my beautiful goddess, wants to be a mother."
Katori then placed her hand on Saito's shoulder, "Are you okay, though?" She asked her, "Something is not right...."
Saito began to shake slightly as she looked down, "I..." She said softly, "I just want to be.....I....."
This was not her usual self. No, no...something was wrong. Something happened to her. I've known her since the brutal days of the early Gotei 13, this is not Saito.
I narrowed my eyes, "What happened to you?" I asked, "Inside the prison. Tell me. Now."
Saito looked at me, a tear running down her cheek, "Would you kill for me?" She asked me with a soft voice
At that moment, Katori's expression shifted to a serious one, looking at me with bloodlust in her eyes. She noticed it, she knew what happened. It's as if she could read her mind.
"Saito..." I said seriously, "I would kill for you, I would die for you all. Tell me love, what happened to you?"
She looked down as she trembled, "I...for years....for many many years...." she said with a shaky voice, "They...they forced themselves on m-"
I pulled her in for an embrace, preventing her from finishing that sentence. My body was shaking in pure rage, I couldn't listen the final words of what she was gonna say. I hugged her tightly as she sobbed into my chest.
The brutal, battle-hardened, Furoufushi Saito was left as this poor and shaken woman. Unacceptable.
"Gen-kun." I heard a vicious tone in Katori's voice
I looked up to see her giving me a serious look, nothing but rage behind her eyes.
"I know." I said softly
"Kill them, whoever it is." she said calmly but with poison
I slowly backed away and placed my hands on Saito's shoulders, "Tell me who." I said, "Give me names...."
"Now."

"Ah, Lord Genryujin...." a shinigami member said as he bowed slightly, "How are you doing-"
I pushed him aside as I walked past him, "Get the fuck out of my way." I said
"Sir!" He said, "What's wrong?"
I was at Squad 1's Barracks, the section where the prison is managed, not the actual prison itself.
I opened a sliding door and looked inside a room, seeing several shinigami gathered around a table, having some drinks. They all looked at me with surprise as their faces were red with alcohol blush.
"You." I said walking up to a ugly bald one, "Come with me."
"W-What for?" He asked, "Why do I gotta-"
"Shut the fuck up." I said as I grabbed him by the collar and pulled him alongside me as I began to walk
"Wait!" he shouted
I then glared at the others, "Speak of this and I'll cut you." I growled as I dragged the bastard alongside with me, "Shut the fuck up and get drunk without this one."
Several minutes later, we were atop of a building, I had him by the collar as I held him over the edge.
"Oi!!!" He exclaimed, "What the fuck?!"
"You sons of bitches." I said with a dead-serious tone, "I let you fuckers walk over me for a Century and you get the balls to pull this shit?! I should fucking kill every last one of you, but I won't do it just because I got careless.... Give me the name of the Noble who visited her! NOW!!!!!"
He widened his eyes, "If the Captain-Commander hears about-"
"FUCK HIM AND FUCK THE GOTEI." I shouted, "Give the fucking name or I'll drop the pieces of your corpses all over the street below, SPILL IT!!!!"
"O-Okay!!!" He said, "Please, calm down! It was a member of the Tsunayashiro Clan!! I swear!!"
"Was it Tokinada???" I growled
"No, it was an older member....I doubt he even knows...." he said, "I-I-I just know that the Noble used a member of the Gotei 13 to do this without anyone knowing....just me and them....."
I narrowed my eyes, "Who?" I asked
"A....captain...." He said while gulping, "I don't know who, though! All I know is that it was a He. The Noble addressed him as male!!"
"Is that so?" I said seriously, "Then I'll call a Meeting, then. Get them to fess up...."
I then tossed him over to behind me as he yelped out, "Ah!!" He shouted
"He's yours." I said as I turned around
As the bastard fell down, his entire body was cut into little pieces by Katori who lunged past him, her Reiatsu leaking out and emitting an immense pressure.
I watched as blood and limbs fell down to the floor, creating a massive splatter of said blood.
"A Noble and a Captain." Katori said, "Gen-kun...this means War."
"It won't get to that point." I said, "I'm killing this Noble though."
"I'm executing him in front of Saito."
