"Take my blood," Madeline whispered, revealing her exposed neck to him.

Draven growled even louder, stepping backward, his gaze fixed on her delicate flesh, the lines of her veins, and the pumping of blood. His senses had gone loose, but the last sensible one he had left was trying to stay away from her, trying not to take her blood.

Alba, who stood next to them, was smiling widely. No vampire could resist such human blood, not even she, who almost wanted to pounce on the human after seeing her exposed flesh. Draven, a weak vampire, needed blood to stay in control, especially when it was her blood that would help him. "Take it, Draven, take it and save yourself," she insisted, licking her fang that had appeared.
