Standing beside the throne of Edmaris was the arch-bishop Reyheim, his rotund form dressed within white-gold robes, sweat trickling down his brow.
"NONSENSE! How can you not kill a monster!?"
His face slowly grew more apoplectic as his advisers tried to calm him down, the scribes and many knights within the room scurrying about in mildly contained chaos. So much confusion was also making itself known outside as the screams of soldiers and cries of spirits unveiled themselves to the main camp itself now.
Pallor encroached upon the previously disturbed face of Edmaris, his hands shaking in thinly controlled fear. Never had he gotten so close to danger before. Never had his forces lost this totally.
"F-flee... We must flee! Reyheim!?"
"M-m-my king, I am- afraid that it may be too late..."
Not accepting of this news the plump king rose to his feet, the royal robes of station billowing out behind him. Sweat was beginning to pool not only on the King's forehead, but also his subjects as the various soldiers and knights drew their swords and stepped outside. Reyheim and Edmaris, as if driven by their instincts, began to follow after them as the General dramatically opened the front entrance to the tent.
"AH! General! Have we killed the vermin yet?"
"No my king, we have no-"
Silence... A sound so serene but also ominous depending on the circumstances. Dreadful, would be a more apt explanation at this current moment as the General's body collapsed forwards. Once alive and natural, the general's visage was now a shadowy remnant of that existence as it was more equivalent to that of a ghost or some undead entity.
"u-Uuu-U!"
The once ecstatic and ambitious king now dropped backwards, his robes now dishevelled and soiled in his own urine and faeces. Reyheim was no better as he attempted to slowly crawl backwards, his expression nothing short of ghastly as horror crept into every fibre of his being.
"MY KING! We must get you to safety!"
One of the honourable and loyal knights sworn to his service attempted to pick the man up in a swift moment of adrenaline. This was the last time that this man would even have a thought.
PLOP
Crimson splattered across the king, and in a few seconds, the whole entire tent. Shadow, it consumed all of the tent as utter darkness hastily descended onto the King's once safe quarters. All light barring the entrance was snuffed from vision, Like a blackhole that consumed everything bright.
"So you are the King...?"
A figured with blood dipped wings stood in the entrance, the features completely hidden as the light and darkness created an umbral cloak. Red, was the only Shade that was distinguishable against the pitch black.
...
I stood there, having killed all of the army outside. In the middle of the entryway to Edmaris's tent. Blood slipped down my wings and body as many of the Falmuth forces did not surrender despite the slaughter. I now watched the leaders of my attackers, their petty squabbles and idiotic logic. War was horrid, corruption was much worse.

'There are no soldiers left?'
More souls could be collected, but it is detected that there are no more than 10,000 Soldiers of Falmuth alive currently in the Forest
'Never Mind. It will be enough.'

"So you are the King...?"
My body slumped in tiredness as the souls collected within me were exiting my body. I could not see them but felt them leave, somehow. At the same time I felt the connection to everyone in my nation. Surreal would be a plain word to describe the sensations as the voice of the world called out in declaration of my ascension. I raised my hand in the direction of the king but felt my hand turn to slime as my magic and physical condition was rapidly entering hibernation. It was not over yet as in the very next minute the voice of the world called out once more.

"Ugh... Shit, this is coming on too quickly..."
Tiredness began to make the rest of my body slowly melt down, fog shrouding my thoughts in a miasma of lethargy. Desperation to not get captured by these corrupted toads that called themselves humans I had an urge, one that slipped from my mouth and mind almost at the same time.
"I use all of the bodies in this battlefield as a sacrifice..."
Understood
Before I understood what had occurred, three figures now stood in front of me. One was dressed like a renaissance noble of some kind whilst the two on either side of the refined man were servant-like.
"Ahhhhh! What bliss...! So many offerings..."
I couldn't even spend time reading his character or conversing, all I felt was that he would do as I said.
"Capture those two... And take me and my companions back to my city."
"As you wish, master."
He snapped his fingers as his two aides immediately clasped their hands around the begrimed leaders of Falmuth, one Arch Bishop immediately fainting at witness these people come close to him. A second later, all went blank.
...
Standing there I attempted to rescue my new master, his potential screaming out at me even now. Unexpectedly however his form switched to that of a slime, the lump of blue liquid splatting softly onto the ground. I felt dread for a few second before I noticed that he had gone unconscious, his transformation beginning shortly.
My two attendants scooped the men up within their arms, the rest turned into food for us. Master had asked us to capture those men, not all of them... I looked down at my new master and felt a smile creeping up slowly as the power of the world slowly converged above us in the atmosphere.
"We need to take him to his city... Where is that?"
"This way, sire."
"Good."
I simply began walking, carrying my master in my arms as my attendant grasped the allies that had come with him, our destination being exactly where my master had stated.
...
In the space between space, between time potentially, stood a man with similar hourglasses within his eyes. His form looked old and dishevelled, his robes brown and black, worn from time itself as dust licked up the side of his entire outfit.
"It is good to finally meet you. I see that you are an elven woman... Interesting, usually one such as yourself is tied to the Fae Gods."
My confusion rose as I watched this man look me up and down, his expression completely lacking emotion. At the same time I felt a power slither over me before my own power flickered and resisted it.
"Good, you have protections in place! I am glad. Now, I am sorry to have not introduced myself earlier or sooner. I am Raistlin Majere, a God of Magic, or you can simply say I am but a traveller here, in this space."
The man gestured to the grey luminal space around us, the figures of distant people lingering before fading, eventually being replaced by others. Space and time was like a question here and it was obvious as in one moment Raistlin had travellers clothes on and then bright red and black robes on. Everything was a suggestion, nothing a certainty here.
"You may be somewhat confused, it is confronting to have such a person as I suddenly claim to be a god. But, it is true."
"That is fine, I was reincarnated by two goddesses... I think I am also technically their daughter...? I am not sure on that though..."
His expression became mildly curious and excited as he heard that, a book entering his previously unladen hands as he jotted down some marks on the pages below, a quill suddenly emerging from nothingness beside him, as if beckoning him to use it.
"Intriguing! Certainly, the first time I have witnessed a Demi-god being able to access this space. Usually it is Avatars of Gods or Gods themselves that delve here. Although, i have only been here for what seems like seconds."
"Really? How long has it been since you last spoke to me?"
"Millenia, but also a nano-second. Time is meaningless here. Main time-streams are isolated and divided here. Some universes have a central timeline, others have hundreds of thousands. Many do not have gods but have gotten grasp of technologies or magics that can allow them to traverse here."
'I wonder if the Tardis moves through this place to manage the space-time jumps it does.'
"It doesn't help that these races or species seem to have some form of protection... That blue box is such an annoyance, i can't ever seem to enter into it..."
'Okay, that confirms it, what the fuck...is going on...!?'
"Sorry if I am blathering. It has been some time since I have spoken to a being of equivalence to myself."
"Which I am guessing was about two minutes ago?"
"Hah! You are learning, but no, I am speaking about my Universe's time scale now."
"Tch."
Our conversation seized up a little as he continued to jot down information. My patience was fostered in war and personal training but this was even putting me to my limits. Then, as if it was all a dream the book disappeared and Raistlin was looking at me.
"Now, what is your name?"
"Oh shit... I forgot, Silviana."
"Nice to meet you. Now. I have already spoken to you about most of the things I am interested in, but I just wish to know, are you intending to ascend into Godhood, eventually?"
I went silent, imagining my wives and how they would consider such things. How they would take it is a worry of mine. I did not think I have a choice, the being bringing me back certainly seemed disinterested in letting me fade into unimportance. My 'mothers' gave me more than I was bargaining for and it only got more severe by the month, let alone the year. My silence apparently gave the man all he needed to know as he simply smiled at me, his grin looking devious but also a little gentle.
"I see. Do not worry. We all come to a choice eventually, it is not your time yet. When you do choose, just know that I will be there to ensure that your journey, whichever way it may be, is smooth."
Before I could even answer his finger snapped, my sight suddenly coming back to the 'real world' as my ears twitched. The sound of my allies' festivals starting.
Heh, are you going to let them take all the spotlight? Or are you going to use the 1 million souls?
'Fuck! Give me time bastard, I just came back from a discussion!'
... There is literally no one here that you spoke with?
'For fuck's sakes... Look just do it, okay?'
Moody... Fine, I'll be talking to the Will of the World, or whatever it is called
