Rowan gasped as soon as he opened the door and saw two women, Aurora and Celia, both breathing heavily and looking utterly exhausted.

Aurora's left arm hung heavily over Tommy's shoulder, her breaths erratic and strained, her legs trembling under the weight of exhaustion, threatening to buckle with each step.

Celia, contrastingly, appeared far more distressed. Her pale complexion had turned an alarming shade of sickly white, accentuated by the shining of sweat on her forehead.

Each breath of Celia came in rapid, shallow gasps, her chest rising and falling with effort.

Her movements were slow and unsteady, every step a struggle against the overwhelming fatigue that threatened to overwhelm her completely.
