"Your mother is right," their father Bjorn said sternly. "It's too dangerous." Their parents weren't having it.

"Dad, we know Morphantasia better than anyone," Brody argued, his voice firm. "We've spent countless hours in the game. If anyone can help Aunt Berny, it's us."

Pamela's eyes were red from worry. "But what if something happens to you? Blakely is already suffering. I can't bear to have anything happen to any more of you."
