"A dress?" Eve's gaze shifted from the Prince who was standing nearby to Carmella, a vampire she had met in the past through Lucius. She was puzzled by Carmella's presence, especially considering her past connection with Lucius. Did the Prince know about this?

"Carmella is known throughout the kingdom as the finest dressmaker," the Prince confirmed with confidence. "She'll create a masterpiece for you to wear at the upcoming ball."

Considering the time constraints, Eve's brows knitted together in concern. "But is there enough time to have a dress made?" she asked.

A knowing smile spread across Carmella's lips as she neared Eve, her presence emanating sophistication and intrigue. She lifted Eve's chin gently with her fingers, tilting it to meet her gaze.
