"Wait what?"
Timothy blurted out unable to hide his surprise, but all he got was another sigh from the ring.
"I said that I am your rune artifact or did I stutter?"Richard the ring asked, but Timothy's expression was one of confusion so he asked again
"What is a Rune artifact?"Timothy asked
"A rune artifact is a mystical object imbued with ancient symbols of power, each rune representing a unique aspect of magic, knowledge, or divine essence. Carved into the artifact's surface with precision and purpose, these runes pulsate with energy, casting intricate patterns of light and shadow as they channel the forces they symbolize. The artifact itself may take various forms, from a stone tablet inscribed with cryptic glyphs to a metallic amulet adorned with shimmering symbols or a majestic ring like myself. In the hands of those who understand their significance, rune artifacts unlock potent abilities, unveil hidden truths, and serve as conduits for the manipulation of the very fabric of reality. To simplify it rune artifacts are cool." Richard explained and his tone suggested that he would have had a prideful look on his face if he possessed one.
Timothy subconsciously nodded after seemingly coming to an understanding of the information Richard shared with him. So he took a glance at his finger and asked; " so why won't you come off my finger ?"
"Oh right that well you see I am but a special Rune artifact see, the instant you wore me on your finger a soul-binding ritual commenced meaning that you and me are now bonded eternally or until...." Richard's voice trailed off at the end but Timothy seemed satisfied enough with his answer because, in the end, everyone would not want their magical item stolen so learning that he and Richard were soul-bound made him happy.
Timothy nodded in satisfaction and turned back around to take a clear look at the spring, In the chamber, surrounded by mystery, lies a magical spring. In the dimly lit chamber, the spring stands out as a mystical anomaly. Its clear waters bubbled from a weathered stone basin, emitting an otherworldly glow that illuminated the surroundings. Surrounded by ferns and flowers, it exuded an ancient charm, its serene melody drawing in those seeking solace from the world's chaos.
"Richard, do you happen to know how did this get in here? I can only think of two possible explanations, one, it's either the Estate was built on top of it, and two, this spring is man-made. Those are the only two logical reasons I can come up with." Timothy spoke but Richard remained quiet for some time making Timothy question his sanity. Just when he was about to repeat his question Richard answered "The problem is that you want to use human logic in stuff that involves the supernatural. What if I told you that this spring was not found here or that it was not even created by men but rather It is a manifestation of a divine spring found in the holy planes. The spring before you can help strengthen your body, mind, and soul and cleanse you of all the impurities your body possesses for you to better feel the "breath". I'm sure you are wondering what is the breath. Well, The "breathe" is not just a simple exhalation; it's a magical power that flows through the veins of existence itself. It's the essence of life, the spark that ignites the flames of creation. When harnessed, it can bend reality to one's will, shaping dreams into tangible forms and breathing life into the mundane. Those who wield the power of the breath are akin to gods, capable of reshaping the very fabric of the universe with but a whisper. Its potency is boundless, its depths unfathomable, and those who dare to master it hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of existence itself that is why it is called The "breath" of the universe or rather the Arcanun."Richard explained but Timothy seemed pretty lost about what the magic ring was blabbering on about so he he simply nodded and threw the useless information to the back of his mind.
Timothy glanced around the secret chamber and found nothing more interesting, deciding to test out the spring for himself he slowly took off his clothing and placed it neatly on the side then he approached the spring slowly and once he was at the edge he looked down and took in his appearance, his hazel-brown iris and white pupils distinguished his appearance but what distinguished him, even more, was the color of his skin a warm, golden-brown hue, reminiscent of caramel or honey. His complexion was radiant and flawless, with a natural glow that enhanced his sharp features. A handsome young man stood with uncertainty, His hair flowed in luxurious strands, cascading down his back in a shimmering silver waterfall. Each strand gleamed with a metallic sheen, catching the light and casting a mesmerizing glow around him. Despite its length, his hair is impeccably styled, falling in a wavy manner that frames his handsome face with an air of effortless charm. With every movement, it swayed like strands of precious silver, adding to its magnetic allure and unique beauty. Despite his charming appearance Timothy's focus was no longer on himself but rather It was now on the spring, he could feel his heart rate picking up because of fear.
"Are you done admiring yourself? If so could you please proceed I too am anxious to feel the effects the spring will have on me." Richard spoke and Timothy picked up the anxiety in his tone and deeply exhaled before steeling his resolve and stepping into the spring.
