Title - Naming going wrong.
…
"Remember when I created Adam and Eve?" Leucadius asked to which Gaea nodded while Oshtur just continued listening. "They were made to be like us…Gods."
"Really?" Oshtur asked in mild shock.
"Hmm." Leucadius nodded and continued. "I had taken data from the Celestial Database left in Olimpia at that time so I knew the intricate workings of the then Homo-Erectus."
"Hmm, I did hear that the Celestials performed a series of experiments on the living creatures of Earth while I was away. Sorry about that sister." Oshtur intoned
"You don't have to apologize. It's all in the past anyway." Gaea shook her head at her sister before turning back to Leucadius. "And?"
"In both mind and body, Adam was similar to myself." Leucadius said with a proud smile. "Now, while I do possess Absolute Intelligence, Adam's mind could only handle what I call Enhanced Intelligence."
"What's the difference?"
"While the Cap of my skill is on the Universal scale, his would cap on the Planetary Level. If he pushed it hard enough, he could cap at the Star level but that was it."
"Doesn't that mean he's…"
"Yup. He was basically a God." Leucadius said with an even wider smile. "To make matters worse, he ate your fruit of wisdom."
"WHAT!!? He dared!? No wonder! I noticed one fruit missing when I returned but sister-! You…"
"It's all in the past now sister. Look over it…" Gaea said with a calm expression. "Leuca compensated by putting his two Holy Ones as guards, not to mention his sword."
"Oh…so that's what they were." Oshtur said in realization before dropping the topic with a harrumph.
"Continuing on, Adam and Eve, upon eating of your fruit, had Their ability activated. They knew what was right and wrong and could process information faster."
"That's a good history lesson but how does that relate to your name?"
"I'm getting there." Leucadius said. "Remember when the humans tried to build that tower that reached the skies in the name of trying to reach the Gods?"
To the question, Gaea and Oshtur nodded. "Although your method was extreme, I did appreciate it. They weren't ready for that yet." Gaea added.
"Well, although you two wouldn't have realized, I had scrambled their brains."
"Huh?" the two exclaimed mildly at the same time.
"The All-Speak. An ability that Divine beings possess. You know that right?" Leucadius asked, glancing at the two of them.
"All-Speak? That's the first I'm hearing it."
"Hmm, I have heard of it but it wasn't something to concern myself with since communication is not a problem to us." Oshtur said.
"Words, language, letters, signs and symbols. These are all means of communication. You're aware of that right?" Leucadius asked to which the two Elder Goddess just shrugged.
Leucadius shook his head but continued anyway. "Isn't it fascinating how languages work? I mean, think about it – every word we use, every letter we write or speak, they're all just tools we use to convey our thoughts and ideas to each other. It's like these squiggles on paper or sounds we make with our mouths somehow carry the weight of our thoughts and emotions."
"Take the word 'love,' for example. It's just four letters, but it encapsulates this incredibly deep feeling that's universal across all cultures. Whether you say it in English, French, Japanese, or any other language, its essence remains the same."
"What are you talking about? What's English, French, and Japanese? Are those realms of magic I've yet to come across?" Oshtur asked.
"That's not possible…considering he's talking about communication…it must be a civilization we've yet to come across…" Gaea intoned with a serious look on her face.
"..." Leucadius could only deadpan the two. Being a Being of Chaos must be nice.
"Each language shapes how we see the world, with unique ways to express things that might not have an exact counterpart in another language. But beyond the words and grammar, it's really about the thoughts and meanings we're trying to convey."
"Whether I say 'tree' or 'arbre' or '木' (which means tree in Japanese), I'm pointing to the same concept – that tall, leafy thing standing outside."
"But you said one word three times…" Oshtur pointed out which caused Leucadius to glare at her silently. "Sorry, continue…"
The God of Heaven could only sigh and continue. "So, in a way, languages are these bridges that connect our thoughts and feelings. They let us share our experiences, dreams, fears, and everything in between. And it's pretty incredible that despite the differences in how we speak, we can still understand each other and connect on such a deep level."
"Hmm…I seem to understand what you're talking about…so this All-Speak is what we as Divine beings of Energy possess." Gaea asked and Leucadius nodded.
"And it enables us to understand the meaning, not the words spoken or written." Oshtur asked to which Leucadius nodded again.
"And by scrambling…you mean you basically erased this ability from…Humanity?" Gaea asked and Leucadius nodded with a smile.
"That's…" Gaea wanted to admonish him only to sigh as she understood why he did that. "So that's what led to that Chaos. I had initially thought you were…"
"I was what? Finally acting like my fellow Gods?"
"I didn't say anything." Gaea said while turning her face to the side causing Leucadius to smirk.
"It was a necessity." Leucadius said and the two women nodded.
"Should I take it that this is what caused the misinterpretation of your name?" Oshtur asked and Leucadius nodded with a sad expression.
"My name is Unique. Gaea herself gave me that name and not anyone can say it. My…Aspect merely told the young Moses…I am Eternal. That's what I am. You understand?" Lucas asked and the two Elder Goddesses nodded.
"I am Eternal however, could be said to be 'I AM'. Past, Present, Future. I Exist. In his tongue, he heard it to be 'Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh' which means I AM WHO I AM. However, I AM, translated to Hayah, which is a verb."
"Wow…this is me taking a guess, but upon telling his people your name, it became…Yahweh." Oshtur, understanding where Leucadius was speaking from said.
Leucadius nodded and continued tiredly. "Over time, as Moses communicated the name he heard at the burning bush encounter, 'Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh,' it gradually evolved in pronunciation and understanding within Hebrew culture. The phrase 'Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh' means 'I AM WHO I AM,' which encapsulates the eternal and self-existing nature of God."
"In Hebrew, the phrase 'Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh' is transliterated into four consonants: YHWH. These later became known as the Tetragrammaton, which is my four-letter name. Ancient Hebrew did not typically write vowels, so the exact pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton was preserved orally rather than in written form."
"However, as Hebrew language and pronunciation evolved, the Tetragrammaton 'YHWH' eventually became vocalized as 'Yahweh.'" Gaea added as she came to her own understanding.
To that Leucadius stretched his hands as if to end a presentation. "Wow…how…beautiful." Oshtur said with glittering eyes.
"What's beautiful?"
"Languages. I just came to a realization as I mauled over what you said. Perhaps…just perhaps, this could be the gateway to another realm of magic." Oshtur said as she stood up and began pacing around.
"Oh..?"
"Hmm. Think about it. Word Magic..? Nah, you've already created that one, then…Linguamancy."
"That's… an Interesting type of magic. If learnt properly, it could even open doors to Reality Manipulation." Leucadius, activating his Absolute Intelligence, also saw the impressiveness of this new branch of magic. (A/N: Info at the end.)
"Anyways, I have an opinion on this New project you're both about to embark on." Leucadius said and raised his hand as an orb manifested on it.
"What's that?" Gaea asked with a frown as she could feel an energy that was similar, yet different from hers.
"I originally called it my Pocket Universe, but perhaps…Ygdrassil would be a fine name." Leucadius said and threw it slightly above their head only for it to expand to show a majestic tree with ten branches within the orb.
"Is that…"
"Yup. The World Tree itself and the Ten Realms." Leucadius said smugly.
"My Word. Leucadius…what have you created?" Gaea asked in horror. Her pupils dilated as she looked at the massive universe above them. It was so small, yet she could feel how expansive it was.
"You…created something…wow. I don't even know the word to use." Oshtur said, but different from Gaea's horror, she was intrigued. "As expected of someone with that Throne."
She could still remember what she'd experienced that one time she sat on Leucadius' Throne. It was as if her Billions of years of knowledge was only a tip of the Iceberg. It wasn't an exaggeration to say that anyone with that chair could destroy and recreate the universe as they saw fit.
"What's this for?"
"Armageddon."
"Hmm?" Both Gaea and Oshtur turned to Leucadius in confusion. "Don't tell me all that stuff your prophets have been spouting about the end time was all your doing." Gaea asked in mild anger which Leucadius felt but kept up his smile.
"Your lack of faith in me is disturbing Mother Gaea." Leucadius said only for Gaea to squint her eyes at him.
"You never call me mother if you aren't planning something nefarious."
Leucadius gasped comically at her words and held his chest. "Your words breaks my heart Mother."
"Out with it. What do you plan to do with Ygdrassil?" Oshtur asked
"I plan to elevate humanity to their place as Gods and Controllers of their limited Destiny." Leucadius said only for the two goddess to look at him as though looking at an idiot.
"I know what you're both thinking, and no. I'm not above Fate or Destiny. That's why I said 'Limited' destiny." Leucadius said
"I have a dream, but that dream is for the far future. Humans have yet to reach a level where this would come in handy. As for now, I'm still in the Beta test level."
"Beta test level?"
"Hmm. Unique humans who died deaths I find unfit are testing the place out." Leucadius said and pulled up the status of Alexander the Great whom he'd saved from dying due to the Greek's ignorance.
