Chapter 18: Dark Element
"So, what I am gonna teach is a martial art called Iron Will Arts, and it relies on, like I previously said, the strength of the user's body to work as it has shallow movement couple with a rough and basic Genetic Energy usage, which makes it pretty easy and fast to learn. Perfect for a newcomer like you"

Seichi just nodded at her words, letting her continue "I'll be teaching you how to emit your Genetic Energy outside your body first and then we'll start with the basics of the Iron Will Arts"
"Now, sit down in a lotus position, close your eyes and concentrate" And Seichi followed her words, immediately going in a lotus position.
"Now concentrate. Feel the air caressing your face, the energy in your body, eliminate any external sound and disturbance and look in your own soul"
And then, Seichi closed his eyes.
The external sounds disappeared and he started feeling his energy, but something was off...
It wasn't warm and pure as he thought, but rather cold and black as if it was the dark's embodiment 'Why is this so strange?'
'Anyway, let's try to use it' he thought, as he moved his lips "Kumiko-nee, i feel it!"
"What do I have to do now?"
"You simply have to imagine your energy coming out your body and enveloping your fist" Kumiko carefully explained.
"Ok, then" Seichi's mind went in full concentration once again. He thought about his dark and ominous Genetic Energy to move outside of his body and envelop his fists.
Suddendly, from Seichi's body a powerful force came out, pushing all of the air sorrounding it away, throwing back even Miyuki and Kumiko's hair. The temperature in the gym fell precipitously down and a black mist started forming around the white haired boy.
"What's happening, master?" Miyuki was shivering from the low temperature.
"It's Seichi!" Kumiko said with a hint of worry. She never saw something like this in all of her life.
Seichi opened his eyes "That was so difficult, but..."
"...I finally did it!" Seichi said as he looked at his hand roughly covered with a strange black energy. All of the room returned normal.
As soon as Kumiko looked that ominous energy enveloping the Martial Club's newcomer's hand, her eyes widened "That's... the dark element!"
"The dark element?" Both Seichi and Miyuki were confused. They never heard about such a Genetic Element.
"Yes, it's one of the rarest type of Genetic Elements and one of the strongest as well" Kumiko said, all excited. She was going to win the competition for sure with something like that.
"Really?" Seichi's mood went off the charts "Do I really have such a strong element?"
"Yes, there's no doubt about it" the older woman reassured the handsome lad "Something like that can only be the Dark element"
Then, Seichi, still excited, put her in difficulty with a question "And why is it so strong?"
"Ehm, about that... i don't know"
"..." the two youngsters didn't know what to say. Why was she making all of that ruckus, then?
She was so embarassed in that moment and tried to explain things as she scratched her head "Well, you see... that's because the ones in possession of the Dark element never disclose anything about it, but we are so sure of its strength because everyone of them is a SSS rank Genetic Warlock"
"It's amazing, but..." Seichi began, slowly getting up from his lotus position "...if I don't know what it does, it's useless to stay here and be amazed by it"
Seichi's eyes were filled with fires of passion "Let's begin training!"
...
After ten minutes
"Yes, Seichi, that's right!" Kumiko was surprised at the lad's improvement rate. He learned all by seeing it once.
'This Adaptability continues to surprise me!' Seichi thought, continuing to do the Iron Will Arts' basic movements perfectly. The Adaptability Uniqueness made all of his muscle quickly adapt to the martial arts' movement and, coupled with his great intelligence, he was an absolute martial genius.
"Now, since you have understood the basic concept, let's continue by applying the Genetic Energy to those movements"
"Yes, Kumiko-nee!" As Seichi nodded, he then tried to do it.
He put his energy into his legs and tried to to execute the basic footwork of the Iron Will Arts to speed his movements and it worked if only... he didn't finish with his face slammed against the wall 'Shit'
"That happened because you have put too much energy on your legs" Kumiko said, as she took the book in her hands "You won't be able to go home until you have got it"
"Y-yes, K-Kumiko-nee" Seichi struggled to say as he distanced his sore face from the wall.
He then tried again, only for the same thing to happen.
And again.
And again.
...
Two hours later of Seichi's face slamming against the wall or the floor.
"I finally got it" Seichi exclaimed in pure joy as he performed the Iron Will Arts' basic footwork with more speed than his body could do by relying only on his muscles and with still a decent form to it "Kumiko-nee, i finally made it"
"Oh, really?" Kumiko said, her face still covered by the book "Can you do it with all of the basic movements and not only with the footwork?"
"...no" Seichi knew what was coming.
"Then go back to training" Kumiko's attention then immediately returned to her book.
"I knew it" Seichi said, before going back practicing.
This time, he applied his energy on his muscles to strengthen them and eneveloped visibly his fist, throwing a straight punch at the air. "It seems that it was go-" but his words were brutally interrupted by an excruciatingly pain rising in his arm "Shit, i guess it wasn't okay at all"
"I think I am gonna stay here all night long" And so, Seichi returned to his training, after the pain in his arm disappeared enough for him to move it.
