Chapter 16: Jealousy
"So, your Uniqueness has side effects like pass out or making evil over time?"
"Exactly, master" Seichi was sipping a cup of black tea "So, what do you suggest I can do about it?"
"I don't know..." Nao was having a hard time answering to his question, but then a few theories formed in her mind "Maybe you should try to evolve it, but there are chances that an evolved version of Gluttony would have stronger side effects. The only solution for now is that you stop using it as to not suffer those side effects"
"..." a sigh came out of Seichi's mouth. There currently wasn't anything to help him against the side effects, beside this, so he eventually accepted her proposal with a sad face "All right, master, I'll do as you say"

The next day, at school
"So, the third law of dynamics says that for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite react-"

A bell ran, marking the end of the school day, and interrupting Mr. Uemura's explanations "What? The hour has finished already? The time, sure flies when you have fun, right guys?"
But he had no one to laugh at his jokes as the immediately left at the bell's rang, except for three students, one sleeping deeply "Hey, you sleepyhead! It's time to wake up!"
"Mm...just five minutes more..." A sleepy Seichi said, before realizing where he was and who just talked to him, therefore immediately getting up and bowing "Sorry, Mr. Uemura! I had little to no sleep yesterday and so i fell asleep!"
"Oh oh, and what were you doing last night to be so busy?" Mr. Uemura repeateadly raised his eyebrows as if to imply something, which Seichi, due to his innocence, didn't quite understand, but so did his other two classmates, one of them getting enraged "So what I heard yesterday wasn't just a misunderstanding! He really is just a bastard playboy like Okumura-san said!"

Miyazaki Hina had been chatting so intensely with her new best friend that, when the bell rang, she nor her friend did her it, so they continued to talk, but when Mr. Uemura began yelling at Seichi, her attention shifted to their conversation and so did her friend's attention.
And, once Uemura said double sensed words while raising his eyebrows, she understood what he meant by that and she got so enraged that she bcame red like a pepper and her eyes covered by illusory fires as she threw gazes at Seichi.
The situation was so evident that she couldn't that her friend couldn't do anything, but notice "Hey, Hina, what did that bastard do to you?"
"N-nothing! He did absolutely nothing to me, Ayako" Hina was snapped out of her angry thoughts by her best friend's words, but the girl wasn't convinced by the received answer and so, once Seichi apologized once again to teacher and left the classroom, she followed him to get explanations.
"Wait, Ayako!" Hina tried to stop her, but it was to late.

Seichi left the classroom "I've been getting the habit of sleeping during classes, huh?"
"Anyway, let's head to the Martial Club. I can't wait for my first lesson to-" but his thoughts were interrupted by a light tap on his shoulder, which made him turn towards the person who did that, only to receive a punch to the face.
"Ouch!" but Seichi wasn't the only one to yell in pain as the puncher did it too "What is your skin made of? Jackass!"
The hitter was a beautiful pink haired girl.

"What's the problem with you?!" Seichi was touching his paining nose "Why the hell did you punch me?!"
"Why?" Her face moved closer to Seichi's "You've made my bestfriend Hina angry!"
"H-Hina?" Seichi was confused. What did he even do to Hina for her to be so angry
"Yes, what did you do to her, you fricking-"
"Stop!!" A girl's yell interrupted the two's heated discussion. It was Hina "Stop it Ayako! He didn't do anything to me!"
"See, i didn-" Seichi wasn't even given a chance to speak that he was cut by the pink haired girl "Then why did you get all angry when Mr. Uemura asked him if he did that last night?"
"That's..." not even Hina knew why she was so angry when the teacher brought that argument up earlier. Why would she care if Seichi had slept with someone?
"Cough... cough..." Seichi interrupted the two girls with a fake cough "Can someone tell me what is going on right now? What is this "that" that you girls are talking about?"
"..." the two girls didn't know what to say. Did someone, that didn't know what "that" was, still exist?
"So, what's that?" Seichi's curiosity about it grew.
"That's se-" just when Ayako was about to satisfy Seichi's curiosity, her mouth was covered by Hina's hand "I-It's nothing, S-Seichi-kun"
"Mhm mmh mhm mmh hmm!" Ayako said something but, due to the hand sealing her mouth, her words were indecipherable.
"Hina, she said you were angry, does it really not have anything to do with me?" Inoocently asked Seichi.
The more Hina looked at Seichi, the more she understood that what she heard yesterday was just a misunderstanding. How could someone so innocent, to not even what "that" is, do those things. And so, a smile returned on Hina's face "No, Seichi-kun, you don't have anything to do with it"
"Ah, i'm so glad, i didn't know what to do if you were angry with me..." Seichi scratched his head as his usual charming smile formed on his face, making both Hina and Ayako blush a little bit.
"Now, if you girls can excuse me, i have to go"
"Yes, goodbye Seichi-kun" the blush over her face disappeared as she saluted Seichi with a smiling face.
"Yes, goodbye Seichi-kun and sorry for punching you before" Ayako said, bowing down as a sign of apology.
"I accept your apologies, Ayako-chan, but there's no need to bow down" then, when the pink haired girl immediately stood up again, Seichi pulled out his divine smile another time "See you tommorow, girls"
Then he left towards the Martial Club and the girls looked at him as he left.
"He sure is hot..."
"AYAKO!!!"
