Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Challenge
"Yeah..." the golden-haired kid responded as he took a combat stance as well. "Then why don't we see who between us kills the most of them?"

"Thunder Howli-"
Too slow!" The guy couldn't even finish pronouncing his attack's name that Yang Kai had already slashed his head off, his now-lifeless corpse falling to the ground and joining other three dead bodies. "With this, I killed four of them!"
"Mo Fan, what... about... you..." the blue-haired boy started to ask, but when he turned to face his blonde friend, he stopped, his eyes not believing what he was seeing close to him: a fricking pile of cadavers!
"Mo Fan, where the fuck do so many of them come from? There were only eight dudes with that ponytail guy before!"
"Eh? You mean these?" Mo Fan said as he pointed at the pile of cadavers. "I have no clue, but maybe the heavens were so jealous of my looks that they decided to spawn more of them here to kill me! Hahaha!"
"Spawn? What fucking words are you even using now? You eccentric bastard!"
"Don't know, that just came to my m-"

The sound of applausing interrupted the two youngsters' conversation. "Well, well, well, I have to say that I am very impressed."
"You two have displayed skills that I didn't think you two were in possession of! Good!" The black-haired dude with the ponytail exclaimed as he unseatened his sword and pointed it at the two youngsters. "So I have an offer for you two rats!"
"I'll let you two become my, Cheng Shao Feng's, subordinates! You'll have anything you've always desired! Fame, power, resources, everything!"
"..." A silent awkardness came right after the black-haired dude's proposal, but then it was shattered by the two youngsters bursting out laughing. "Hahahahahaha!"
"What's there to laugh?! It's not funny!"
"Hahahahahahahaha, Mo Fan, did you hear this? Hahahahahahahaha!"
"Yes, hahahahaha!" Mo Fan was on the verge of crying from all the laughter he was having. "Hey, Cheng Shao Feng, if you are practicing for your audition at the circus, I have to say that you are doing a really great job! Hahahahahaha!"
"Pft..." even the little pink-haired girl in the distance found it so funny, that a little snark escaped from her mouth too, making Cheng Shao Feng infuriate even more now.
"Stop it! You fucking ants!!" The black-haired dude was angry to the point that he immediately started rushing towards the two youngsters.
"I'm going to cut you two up!!" Once he was near enough, Cheng Shao Feng threw a sword slash at Mo Fan's face, but strangely enough, the latter didn't flinch even a bit. He was confident that Yang Kai would have parried that attack for him, and so it was when the blue-haired kid deflected Cheng Shao Feng's sword with his own.
"Are you crazy, Mo Fan? If I hadn't protected you from his sword, you would have died!" Yang Kai exclaimed as he continued to deflect all of Cheng Shao Feng's continuous attacks.
"Sigh... well, I knew that you wouldn't have let your best friend die, and, besides..." Mo Fan began as he slowly distanced himself from the two fighting guys. "I thought that it was another one of his auditions as a clown, with his sword maybe turning out to be a toy, but by how you're fighting with him, it seems that it's a true weapon after all! Hahahahahaha!"
"Hey, you fucking bastard! Where the fuck do you think you are going?! Come here, you coward!" The golden-haired kid's words angered Cheng Shao Feng so much more that he was now just trying to get Yang Kai off himself to go and cut Mo Fan up.
But the blue-haired kid wasn't so easy to pass off. "Hey, you ponytail bastard! I am still here!"
"You fucking ants! I am going to cut you up as well then!!" Cheng Shao Feng shouted, his attacks starting to get stronger and stronger.
"He's strong!" Yang Kai was beginning to have some problems keeping up with the ponytail dude's pace, and so he thought of breaking his balance with a whip kick at his legs. But when he put this idea into action, it miserably failed, as Cheng Shao Feng grabbed his leg and threw him away.
"The tricks of an ant will never work on me, the great Cheng Shao Feng!" The black-headed guy with the ponytail exclaimed, immediately starting to run after Yang Kai, who was still in the air because of the throw.
Just when the blue-haired kid was about to land on the ground, he was reached by Cheng Shao Feng, who immediately performed a sword lunge towards him.
As the blade approached more and more his face, an unsound yet perfect idea for the situation came to Yang Kai, and so when he was about to be stabbed by the tip of Cheng Shao Feng's sword, he let the palm of his own hand to be pierced instead. Then, as if he didn't feel any pain, he made the entire weapon's blade pass through his hand so as to reach the hilt and grab this together with the black-haired guy's manus.
Having now gained full control over him, Yang Kai let his own sword fall, and, with one of his hands now free, he punched Cheng Shao Feng in the face, causing him to feel not only immense agony but an intense burning sensation as well, as Yang Kai had also used his scorching inner Qi in the attack. "Argh... my face... it's fucking burning!!"
Without letting any time for Cheng Shao Feng to recover, the blue-haired kid immediately threw a knee kick to his head, sending him to the ground.
"Didn't you say that the tricks of an ant didn't work on you? What happened now?!" Yang Kai mocked Cheng Shao Feng before extracting the latter's sword from the palm of his hand and pointing it at its owner. "Now you're going to die under your own sword! Isn't this hilarious?"
"You bastards! If you kill me, my sect, the Storm Hall, will never forgive you two! Mark my wor-" but Cheng Shao Feng wasn't even given the privilege of finishing to say his last words that his head was chopped off by his own sword.
