Ava went into the washroom quietly. The staff put up the "Under Maintenance" sign soon after. Ava then gave the staff $100 to keep quiet.
Ava went back to Deckard. Deckard picked up the call and said, "Did I call at the wrong time?"
Ava shook her head and said, "No, I was just hanging out with Elena and Regina. So, why did you call, bro?"
Deckard said, "Well, you asked me to introduce you to the best lobbyist I know, right?"
Ava asked, "What's her name?"
Deckard replied, "Elizabeth Sloane."
Ava nodded and asked, "Did she agree to meet me and hear what I want to talk to her about?"
Deckard replied, "Well, I met her in Washington, and she wants to meet you today because she's leaving for Europe for a campaign tomorrow. I told her you could make it in time."
Ava thought for a moment and said, "Okay, I will be there in 30 minutes. Send me the location of the meeting."
As Ava hung up the phone, she sighed.
Ava went back to the table and said to Regina and Elena, while giving them one card, "Sorry, I have urgent work. You guys can continue shopping with Haley."
Regina and Elena understood that Ava had some urgent work, so they just nodded, and Elena took the card. Ava turned to Haley and said, "Take care of our girlfriend, Haley. We will meet at your dad's birthday."
Haley nodded, and Ava bid farewell to everyone.
After Ava left, Haley looked at Regina and Elena and said, "So, are we going to buy a gift in Ava's stead as well?"
Regina replied while shaking her head, "She said she will buy it herself."
Elena looked at Regina and Haley and said, "Guys, we have to go shopping."
Mitchell looked at Cam and said, "I think we should go too, as I don't think you want to leave Lily with Gloria for much longer."
Cam nodded, and he and Mitchell left after bidding farewell to Haley, Elena, and Regina.

Ava was in an underground parking lot, and while nobody was around, she opened a portal to her garage on the outskirts of New Jersey.
While Ava was in the garage, she looked at the information about Elizabeth Sloane collected by Katie. Ava read through the details and sighed, saying, "I think I have to convince her."
Katie asked, "What do you mean by 'convince,' Miss?"
Ava replied, "This woman, Elizabeth Sloane, has an addiction to Adderall, and she's like John, but in politics, without any morals."
Katie said, "But Miss, aren't most people in politics like that?"
Ava shook her head and said, "No, she's different. Did you analyze her career track record? She has never failed."
Ava thought for a moment and asked, "Katie, is OT-2x still under trials?"
Katie replied, "Yes, Miss. The government still hasn't made a decision yet."
Ava, with a little frustration, said, "Those bastards don't even understand OT-2x, but they still create problems for me if I don't give them a cut of the profit."
Ava sighed and said to herself, "Looks like I have to take them seriously this time."
Ava looked at a hologram screen and said, "Katie, send the list of these bastards to Cipher."
Ava then took out her phone and called Cipher.

Cipher was inside her plane, looking at the list Katie had sent her. When she received Ava's call, she smirked, picked it up, and said, "Hey, boss. Got a job for me?"
Ava nodded and said, "Yeah, I want you to warn the people on that list not to interfere with Roses Pharmaceuticals' medicine trials. If they don't know what's best for them, you know what to do, right?" There was an evil smirk on Ava's face.
Cipher nodded with a smirk and said, "I like the job, boss."
Cipher then asked, "Boss, can I get access to your company's satellite SX-5R?"
Ava paused for a moment before replying, "Well, the company is launching a new satellite in two days, which was solely designed by me. It's just a cover, as it's for our organization's use, so you'll get access to it once it's activated in space."
Cipher nodded and said, "Okay, boss. Also, I have gathered 30,456 people, including immigrants and orphans, according to your instructions. More will be gathered."
Ava thought for a moment and said, "Okay. Check if there are any spies or criminals among them using their history records. Katie will help you with that. After confirmation, inform me."
Cipher nodded as Ava hung up the phone.
Ava opened a portal to her lab in Houston, took a packet filled with 20 OT-2x pills, and returned to the garage on the outskirts of New Jersey.
Ava then took a bike, put on a helmet, and rode toward a hotel in Washington, where Sloane and Deckard were waiting for her.
Twenty minutes later, Ava arrived at the location and entered the hotel.

Sloane looked at Deckard and asked while glancing at her watch, "Deck, where is your boss? The half-hour is up."
Deckard, looking toward the hotel entrance, replied, "She should be here any minute."
Sloane looked at Deckard and smiled, saying, "Why don't we go back to the room and have another round?"
Deckard saw Ava's message and turned to Sloane, saying while pointing at a woman, "Look, she's here."
Sloane turned to look at the woman Deckard had pointed out, surprised to see her wearing a bike helmet and a black leather jacket. She wondered if Deckard had joined a bike gang.
Ava approached them, extended her hand towards Sloane, and said, "Ava Lewis. Bro must have told you that I wanted to meet you."
Sloane was a little confused by Ava calling Deckard "bro" but shook her hand and said, "Elizabeth Sloane. Deckard mentioned it, but I don't know why you want to meet me."
Ava replied with a smile, "For that, we need to change locations."
Sloane thought Ava wanted to discuss something illegal or personal, so she agreed to the change of place. They went to a room booked by Sloane.
Once inside, Ava put on blue goggles and scanned the room, her eyes stopping at a pen on the desk. Ava picked up the pen, crushed it with brute force, and threw it into the trash bin.
Ava then took off her helmet, surprising Sloane, as Ava looked like she was 20 or younger and very beautiful, making Sloane momentarily feel attracted to her. Regaining her composure, Sloane thought Ava might be Deckard's former boss's daughter.
Ava took a seat and said casually to Deckard, "It seems someone was here. Bro, please end the suffering of that bastard and everyone with him."
Deckard nodded and left while Katie provided him with information about the location of those trying to spy on them.
Sloane looked at Ava with a hint of horror, as Ava had casually ordered Deckard to kill the people spying on them.
Ava smiled at Sloane and said, "So, Miss Sloane, I want you to work for me."
Sloane hesitated and said, "But, I'm a lobbyist. I can't kill someone." She thought Ava was hiring her for a criminal gang.
Ava chuckled and continued, "I want you to create your own firm that will work for me. I'll fund everything you need."
Sloane frowned, hearing that Ava wanted her to create a firm for her own use. She asked with some courage, "But why does Miss Ava need a firm?"
Ava replied while playing with a paperweight on the desk, "Well, my organization is going to create our own political party. Some senators and government officials are after my organization and won't stop until they get the money and technology we own."
Sloane processed the information and asked, "I don't want to go too deep into your organization, but is it evil?"
Ava shook her head and said, "We are neutral. We don't side with evil or good. We help those who are good to us and destroy those who are bad to us."
Sloane nodded and asked, "So, you want to control the government so you won't have anything to worry about in the future?"
Ava nodded and said, "You don't have to worry. We'll create good reforms."
Sloane sighed and said, "I know your offer is great, but I can't work for you. I'm going to retire in a few years."
Ava then placed a packet filled with OT-2x in front of Sloane and said, "Try one of these, then give me your answer."
Sloane took one pill out of the packet and asked, "What's this?"
Ava replied, "Just an advanced version of Adderall."
Sloane raised an eyebrow, looking at the pill, as she had a slight addiction to Adderall and was intrigued by Ava's claim that this pill was an advanced version of it. She thought for a moment and asked, "Does it work better than Adderall?"
Ava nodded and said, "Yes, it works better than Adderall and has no side effects."
Sloane looked at the pill with fascination, but she still had some doubts about it.
