Chapter 90: Day Before Party
<General perspective>
A day before the party, Lee and Emmett dropped off new recruits at the locations Lee had announced they would be rescued from. They used four drones for each of the 25 men.
Lee and Josh were in the spaceship, with Lee piloting. They arrived in Chiba, where Josh mentioned that his family owns a farm and restaurant.
Lee opened the back hatch of the spaceship and jumped from a height of 500 meters, wearing armor and equipped with an A3-Z. Josh also jumped, using a parachute and carrying an A2-X, a standard assault rifle with greater firepower and damage than any modern gun.
As Lee landed, he created a crater on the road, causing a loud noise. A creature ran towards Lee, but he blasted its head with A3-Z.
Lee heard screams from two more alien creatures from different directions as Josh landed next to him. Lee signaled Josh about one creature's direction while he looked in another direction where he heard the scream.
Lee and Josh had trained themselves using Virtual Reality at 10X in the last two days when they were sleeping or free.
Lee peered down the road and spotted an alien creature emerging from a traditional Japanese-style house, sprinting towards him. He smiled and patiently waited until the creature was 100 meters away. As it drew near, he unleashed a concentrated energy blast at its head. However, Lee noticed something odd about the creature—it had a katana lodged halfway through its back. He pulled the katana out and remarked amusingly, "Looks like a katana."
Josh swiftly retrieved a small device and pressed a button, releasing a high-frequency sound. The creature, now 50 meters away from Josh, screamed in agony as its head expanded. Taking advantage of the moment, Josh aimed and shot it in the head, ending its life.
Lee nodded approvingly at Josh, who then hurried towards the house. A man in his early 50s emerged, holding a katana hilt, supporting his wife in her early 40s, whose left leg was bleeding and wrapped in cloth. Following them was a woman in her early 20s, carrying a bag on her shoulder.
Josh warmly greeted the man and woman. They looked at Josh with shock and surprise. The man gently covered his wife's mouth and used sign language to express gratitude to Josh, "Thank goodness you're safe. Your mother was so worried about you."
Josh nodded reassuringly and replied, "I'm fine, and you both are safe now." He turned to the young woman carrying the bag and added, "And you too, sister."
They stared at Josh in horror, worried that his words might attract more of those creatures.
Josh noticed their expressions and quickly reassured them, "You don't need to worry about making noise. Mr. Lee and I have already taken care of the alien creature."
The man glanced at Lee, who was clad in high-tech full-body armor, and inquired with sign language, gesturing towards the katana in Lee's hand, "Sir, was it you who made that loud sound?"
Lee lifted his helmet, revealing his face, and nodded in confirmation.

Josh's sister fell into a trance at the sight of Lee's handsome face. Josh's father nodded solemnly, his eyes reflecting gratitude. "Thank you," he said quietly, meeting Lee's gaze. "Because of you, my wife is still alive."
Lee replied, "It's okay. Do you need this katana back?" He showed him the katana.
Josh's father shook his head and said, "No, you found it, and you can take it. I can't give you anything else for saving my wife's life." He handed Lee the hilt of the katana he was holding.
Lee nodded, respecting his decision, and placed the katana back in its sheath. Meanwhile, Josh's sister was still staring at Lee. Josh approached his sister and whispered in her ear, "Don't even think about it. He is married and has a happy family."
Josh's sister snapped out of her trance and sighed, realizing her fantasies were crushed.
Lee took an injection from a pouch on his armor suit and gave it to Josh, saying, "Here, help your mom."
Josh glanced at his mom, then turned to Lee and bowed while taking the injection. "Thanks, sir," he said.
Lee nodded. "It's okay. You don't have to thank me. You're part of my team now, and for this as well," he added, showing Josh the katana.
Josh nodded, smiling with respect. He approached his mother and said, "Okaasan, I want you to stay calm, okay?"
His sister looked at the injection and signed to Josh, "What is that injection, brother?"
Josh looked at his sister and said, "Imouto, it's medicine. And Otousan, can you put Okaasan on the bench?"
Josh's father nodded and gently placed his wife on a bench under a tree.
Josh approached his mother, who touched his cheek and said, "I am happy to see you."
Josh smiled and replied, "Me too, but now I want you to relax and breathe calmly." His father held his mother's hand while Josh injected her with the medicine in her right arm.
Josh's sister glanced at lee for sometime and said while extended her hand, "I am Yumi Nakamura, Josh's younger sister."
Lee shook her hand and said, "i am Lee Abbott."
Lee thought and asked, "miss yumi, do you know any place nearby where we can get fresh Wasabi for Japanese dishes."
Yumi's face turned red as she heard Lee calling her first name, but regained her composure and answered Lee's question, "Well, I don't know much but Otousan might know about it."
Lee nodded.
After Josh's mother's leg healed because of the injection, Josh smiled and said to father, "Otousan, we have to leave now."
Josh's father asked while looking at Josh's military gear, "Where, and I want to ask you from the time I saw you that when did you enlisted to military."
Josh replied, "Otousan, we are going to America, and currently I am working for a new government organization and America now don't have a single creature on its land to harm anyone."
Josh's mother looked at Josh's father and said, "we are going, Hiroto."
Hiroto said, "but I can't, Hikari."
Hikari replied in a serious tone, "but we aren't safe here, our son come here to take us to a safe place not for waiting in this place for death with us."
Hiroto just sigh remembering how he was about to lose his wife and nodded, "ok, we will go." As Hikari smiled
Hiroto looked at Lee and asked, "Mr Lee, are you the one who send a radio transmission that you are going rescue the people who will gather in Kyoto."
Lee nodded and said, "yes, we come here after dropping my men to the location of gathering."
Hiroto asked, "then why did you come here as we might have gone to Kyoto."
Lee glanced at Josh and turned to Hiroto and said, "Well Mr Nakamura, Josh said you won't leave your house even after hearing the radio broadcast, as you are stubborn."
As Lee said that yumi chuckled and Josh felt a cold shiver down his spine because of Hiroto's glare.
Lee looked at Hiroto and asked, "Mr Nakamura, do you know a place were we can get fresh ingredients for Japanese dishes."
Hiroto nodded and said, "Yeah I know, but why do you wanna know."
Lee replied, "Well our organization has a huge party tomorrow so we are collecting ingredients for the dishes around the world from each country."
Hiroto said, "Well, I know a place where you can get everything fresh, you need for Japanese cuisine."
Hiroto asked, "But how are you going to get to America, with that us and ingredients in such a short time."
Lee smiled and looked in the sky in east direction. Hiroto also looked in that direction as his eyes widened looking at a spaceship at 1000 meters above the ground.
After they collect at the rare ingredients like Wasabi and Matsutake Mushrooms they returned to the ship and take off to the next stop.

In America, the new recruits are also working to gather ingredients and chefs for tomorrow's party.
At 5:00 PM, when Lee and Emmett returned after gathering rare ingredients like Kopi Luwak (Civet Coffee) from Indonesia, Saffron from Iran, Teff from Ethiopia, Aji Amarillo from Peru, Tonka Beans from South America, Piment d'Espelette from France, Hákarl from Iceland, Manuka Honey from New Zealand, and Matsutake Mushrooms and Wasabi from Japan, Katie informed them that the construction of the city was completed and they could move to their designated homes in the city.
When the kids found out that they were going to live in a new home, they were happy and started jumping for joy. After the Abbott family and Emmett's family got to the city in the spaceship, the kids were shocked to see the city, while their parents were only a little surprised as they had been in the meeting when the city and base design were selected.
Katie used microbots to move everything from the factory to the main building lab of the city.
After learning that both the Abbott family and Emmett's family each got a penthouse on the 60th floor of buildings near the base, they decided to change it with Katie's help, as they might have one more child in the future and a penthouse didn't sound safe.
Katie then allotted them three-floor houses near the base, with their houses next to each other.
They moved to their new houses with the remaining belongings from their old homes.
Katie also allocated houses to everyone currently working for the organization. Those who do not work for the organization reside in a large shelter building until Ava announces the new laws. During this time, Katie used drones to maintain law and order in the city.
