Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Dimensional Group Chat

A sudden change in my routine was really distressing.

Suddenly realizing that there are gods, beings stronger than gods, aliens, and other worlds made him feel small and insignificant.

In addition, it hadn't been long since I had talked to one of those beings.

I might have assumed I was high since everything sounded like nonsense, but the names of heroes and worlds no one here knows about and the knowledge of what might happen in the future prove otherwise.

"Tony, Are you not gonna be late for school?"

 Lena asked with concern.

"I'm taking the day off today. I've finished everything."

I waved my hand while continuing to prepare breakfast.

"Just don't get used to it."

 Lena smiled slightly.

"How can I? After all, I'm an honor student."

I proudly said this while turning to face her and raising the spatula in my hand.

"Hahaha!"

Lena covered her mouth with her hand while barely holding back her laughter.

"Tony, you seem to be in a good mood today. Did something happen?"

"I'm just in a good mood."

I shrugged.

"You should be in school too, right?"

"I don't necessarily have to be there."

Lena said, but I clearly saw how she glanced down at her legs.

"You should make some friends."

I said this while flipping a pancake.

"I have friends..."

Lena said it somewhat uncertainly.

"And I haven't seen you with friends either."

Lena retorted.

"I have you."

I said it easily, and the kitchen suddenly fell silent.

Lena just smiled a little bitterly while hoping I wouldn't notice, and then stroked my leg and rolled towards her bedroom.

Meanwhile, I picked up the pancake and placed it on the nearby plate with a small stack of pancakes.

I'm in a world where there is magic, gods, and everything else, which means I'll eventually be able to find a cure for my sister.

There's no question about it, my emotions towards her are genuine, and I really do have feelings for her, so I won't abandon her like Lex did to us.

I remember about a year ago some guy from the university was hitting on her, but I managed to have a 'conversation' with him.

It was Anthony's first fight, and he got beat up, but the other guy didn't win either.

I finally saw the flashing sign in the corner of my eye while I was making pancakes.

The moment I thought about it, a message showed up.

[The Universal Gacha has been activated.]

The message appeared before me as if someone was standing behind me with a projector.

[The rules of the Universal Gacha...]

The Gacha itself could be considered a system of SSS class, and with its help, one could obtain a lot: people, abilities, skills, items, other beings, and so on.

Items that could alter appearance, character, and more.

Additionally, I could assimilate them besides just summoning people, meaning I could take their abilities, useful knowledge, skills, and so on without their memories and without changing my own personality.

These cards were stored in the Gacha Inventory.

The system gave me one gacha point every day, and I needed five points to "spin" the gacha and get a card for something.

It was also possible to buy a maximum of one hundred Gacha points at the beginning of each month, and the initial price was one dollar per point.

I could buy up to ten chances to spin the gacha for fifty points and increase the chance of getting a card above my power level.

The very first use of the Gacha came with a huge bonus for an item.

That's the most important thing I understood after reading it.

The Gacha items were divided into different ranks:

E = Ordinary

D = They are capable of destroying/changing/equivalent value/rarity and value buildings.

C = Island

B = City Level

A = Continents Level

S = Planet Level

SS = Galaxy Level

SSS = Universal Level.

Moreover, items could have a strong variation in strength depending on who used them.

After having breakfast with Lena, I went to my room to think about this gacha. After all, it also provided me with my features:

Name: Anthony Joseph Luthor

Race: Human

Title: Brother of a Villain

Overall Power: 10-B (the strength of an ordinary person capable of lifting at most twice their weight)

Assimilated Characters:

Abilities:

Gacha Points: 1

It was quite expected even though the title was quite clear.

I had the opportunity to spin the gacha once with a huge bonus for the very first spin, but it would be better to increase this bonus by spinning ten times at once.

So I took out a hundred dollars from my wallet and bought a hundred Gacha points resulting in a total of 101 points.

"Why do I feel so strange doing all this?"

I asked myself out loud.

It made me want to get stronger faster when I realized what kind of world I lived in and how dangerous it was.

There were gang fights every week in Gotham, and here in Metropolis, an alien could show up whenever a guy in a blue and red suit wanted to.

I stopped thinking about those things and calmed down because I might now get something useful.

Then I mentally pressed the "Spin."

"Alright, what did I get..."

I took a deep breath and chose to spin ten times right away while looking at the flickering screen.

This would leave me with 51 points and ten more chances to spin.

Dimensional Group Chat System (SSS)

Magic Wand (D)

Centuries of Masochist Experience (D)

Hestia's Panties (C)

Vaseline (E)

T-shirt (E)

Cerberus's Wool (D)

Cash: $50,000 (E)

Pen (E)

Glasses (E)

I got excited as soon as I saw the first thing. The first thing was SSS class, which means it was universal or higher.

However, I didn't understand what the item.

"A group chat?"

I asked quietly and immediately found an SSS rank card in the Gacha inventory for cards.

The golden card with burning stars on the cover looked more than appealing, and it said:

[Dimensional Group Chat: A spatial system across the universe of group chat capable of connecting people from any point of the universe, multiverse, and omniverse.]

The card was shown, and I knew what it said because I'd read a lot of stories like this.

But Gacha and Chat together?

Honestly, I was hoping for some powers that could help me... and I got a hemorrhoid ointment and a chat group.

However, the latter might be useful for escaping from this universe and never returning here as a last resort.

Cash would also be helpful, by the way, but what about the wands...

[The Magic Wand: The tool of every wizard with which an incantation spoken loudly or silently accompanied by a specific wand movement produces the desired result.]

[Note: This requires magical power.]

At the moment, I can only use it to tap myself or poke someone in the eye, so it's not very useful.

I selected the wand card to test it and it appeared in my hand.

"Stupefy... um...?"

I said this while pointing the end of the wand at the wall. Of course, nothing happened because it looks like I don't have any magical energy.

I put the wand away, but it disappeared again and turned into a card in the Gacha inventory.

This time I chose the Group Chat card, and...

[You have been chosen as the administrator of the Dimensional Group Chat.]

[As an Administrator, you will have privileges:]

[Daily distribution of one hundred chat points]

[The ability to invite participants (this option is not available immediately)]

[The ability to restrict access to the chat for participants is under your control (prohibit sending messages, photos, audio, items...)]

[The ability to access more comprehensive information on missions, additional tasks, and bonuses.]

[Discounts at the Dimensional Store]

[The ability to establish certain rules in the chat...]

There was a message that looked a little different from the Gacha System.

I briefly noticed some loading after these words, and then another card showed up.

This time, it wasn't my traits that were shown, but the current chat options:

[Dimensional Store]

[Chat Points: 100]

[Group Chat]

[Missions/Tasks]

[Mail]

[Information]

After selecting the last choice, "Information," I started to look through the attached data.

I mostly got what I expected.

[The Group Chat allows people to communicate with each other and offers different tasks that you can choose to do.]

[Chat Points will be given out when missions are completed.]

These can be used to buy... well, pretty much anything.

There are different types of Group Chats with ranks B and A. The store has a lot of rules for those chats, but this one has almost none.

It depends on the participants since the shop only sells things from the worlds of the participants.

In general, it's a useful currency. There's also "Mail" here, which is needed to transfer items between participants.

After reading everything to the end, I gained some confidence in the future because now I can quite survive in this world.

There aren't any people in the Group Chat right now, and the first four people are added immediately, but he can't pick them because it's random.

I need to finish some hidden tasks in order to invite other people I choose.

"If an unstable individual ends up in the chat?"

I asked but didn't expect an answer.

However, I can block almost all chat features for them. After all, I'm the administrator.

"Alright, let's get started..."

I mentally clicked on the Group Chat and then on "Find Participants."

I can either connect the Group Chat to a mobile device or just leave it as a screen in front of my eyes.

[Searching for participants started... 10%... 34%... 69%... 100%]

The participant has been added to Chat: "MissKnowItAll."

The participant has been added to Chat: "Exhibitionist."

The participant has been added to Chat: "AmbitionlessShinoa."

The participant has been added to Chat: "God's Tongue."

An administrator has been added to Chat: "BrotherOfSupervillainGenius."
