(What if there would be a squad of humans coming here to investigate? Fighting humans in my current state is a bad idea.)

The deerwolf continues consuming the centipede monster body until it could not take an another bite.

(I still can't run at full speed, but dragging this thing everywhere while looking for a minimal safe spot is a bad idea for many reason.)

After I filled my stomach with that bastard flesh, I began looking around for a spot that is at least bit safe.
Not like safe from monsters, but a safe spot where I could at least eat in peace.
I did encounter monsters, but I was too annoyed and focused to bother remembering what I killed.
I killed any monsters I encounter, since I wanted to clear the area.
I may have lost my limb, but I was able to kill anything in my way.
Nothing was near or that guy level.
Anyway, I managed to find a denser part of the forest filled with trees. I could use that place.
It is also located away from that bastard hunting ground.
It's not perfect hiding spot or a good one, but it will have to do, since I can't travel too far with my current state.
I cleared the spot of monsters as well, so I shouldn't' be bothered for some time.
I headed back to the centipede bastard hunting ground in order to retrieve the corpse.

The deerwolf walked towards the centipede hunting ground and upon arriving, it found 2 humans inspecting the centipede monster corpse.

(And that guy… He is the guy I sometimes spot going to the deeper parts of the forest! That armor wearing guy!)

The girl suddenly turned around towards the deerwolf direction and saw the creature hiding among the bushes.

The deerwolf left its hiding spot, revealing itself to the pair of adventures.

As soon as the pair saw the monster, they instantly put up their guard.

The deerwolf unleashed a wave of razor sharp leaves towards the girl, but the man wearing armor suddenly got in the way of the attack and blocked the attack with its shield and body.

The deerwolf began slowly moving towards the pair of adventures while the armor wearing adventures looked at the corpse of the centipede.

The armor wearing man quickly moved away, revealing the young girl with a ball of light in her hand.

Suddenly, from the girl hands a bright light emerged that completely blinded the deerwolf in the instance.

Moment later, the deerwolf regained its vision.
