The first rays of sunlight had barely appeared on the horizon when Strax, Rogue, and Samira gathered in the small makeshift hall of the mansion. The sturdy wooden table, seemingly out of place in the rustic environment, was covered with papers and notes that had started piling up as ideas flowed.

Samira leaned against the wall, arms crossed, a clear expression of discontent on her face. Her eyes swept over Rogue, who sat at the table, far too relaxed for someone supposedly discussing something serious.
