"Just what are you?" the old man asked, surprised that his attacks didn't work on Emrys.

Emrys didn't notice, but the old man saw it clearly. He witnessed how all of his attacks were shockingly converted into their base form, that is, death energy, and were swallowed within Emrys's body.

The old man's figure began to tremble. He narrowed his eyes as he observed Emrys closely. The dark patterns on his skin pulsed more intensely, reacting to his growing agitation.

Emrys felt a strange sensation within him. He looked at the old man curiously, not knowing what the old man wanted to do now.

"Who are you?"

Emrys didn't answer the old man's question, instead, he presented his curiosity. For a moment, the two of them kept looking at each other.
