Chapter 73: Chapter 73 The Terrifying Azshara

The conversation between the two individuals was fully recorded by an Eye of Magic, which was hidden exceptionally well.

Azshara's city is located near the Well of Eternity, surrounded by streams of magic. An Eye of Magic was cleverly embedded within the streams of magic, and no Mage would be surprised by such a common occurrence of magical flow.

This precisely demonstrates Azshara's exceptional mastery of magic, to the extent that even the Great Magister Elisande couldn't detect it!

It is not surprising for a prominent Archmage to have a large number of Mages under their command, just like a professor having several free research assistants to boss around.

Why bother doing everything yourself when you can simply relax and enjoy the benefits?

Azshara gritted her teeth as she watched the conversation between the two individuals, her mind becoming somewhat twisted.

From being revered as the Light of Lights by all to transforming into the hideous Naga Queen she is now, despite being immortal, what meaning does it hold?

Her sole purpose is revenge!

To avenge those wretched beings who betrayed her millennia ago!

And the traitors who stood by idly!

And N'Zoth!

In ancient times, Azshara was truly adored and beloved by all, from common Night Elves to the noble class, all were willing to go to great lengths for her, loving her unconditionally like brainless fanatics, which is not desirable.

And Azshara lived up to those expectations, an outstanding Archmage who brought the mighty Troll Empire that once dominated the entire continent of Kalimdor to its knees, shattering it into pieces, effortlessly annihilating thousands of elite troops single-handedly.

Her mastery of magic, combined with the construction of this magical city, showcased her immense power.

With her formidable strength, unparalleled beauty, and elegant lineage, Azshara was elevated to a divine status.

This led to her becoming arrogant and prideful, feeling invincible in all her actions.

Everything she did was deemed correct, even attracting the Burning Legion to Azeroth was deemed right.

Being seduced by Sargeras' immense power was also considered right, akin to a spoiled child.

As reality shattered and she was cast into the depths of the sea, making deals with ancient gods and cursed to become the grotesque Naga Queen, Azshara's hatred grew more intense over time, gradually driving her to madness.

All of this buried deep within her, all for the sake of avenging her enemies!

Arthas noticed a red-named unit in the distance, triggered by Azshara's hostility, causing her Eye to turn red as well.

"The Eye of Azshara (a magical outpost monitoring everything, visible and invisible units)."

"It seems the Naga Queen has taken notice of us, she's also in this Nightmare. You better be cautious, hey, the Queen is not lenient towards traitors!" Arthas chuckled, showing a hint of anticipation.

With this reminder, Elisande felt a chill down her spine, her skin covered in goosebumps in an instant.

She swiftly cast a magical shield, but it shattered upon impact! An invisible crescent blade almost cleaved her in half, if not for the shield appearing just in time, she would have been severely injured!

"Let's go!" Elisande stomped her foot, her bare, elegant feet emitting a ripple of magic.

An intricate magic array composed of countless triangles, circles, diamonds, and other patterns began to glow, a sight that would astonish any Mage witnessing it, activating such a complex magic array at such speed!

If it were Dalaran's mages, they would turn red-faced, unable to even complete a fifth of the task!

It requires mental strength, focus, mana, and a proficient understanding of magic, all essential elements!

"Wait, why are you pulling me?" Arthas's words were cut short as he was suddenly lifted off the ground, feeling a wave of dizziness washing over him.

He vanished on the spot, and the next moment, numerous arcane missiles with brilliant tail flames bombarded the spot where he had stood moments ago.

The exquisite mage manor was instantly razed to the ground by magic, the so-called magical shield only lasting less than a fraction of a second before shattering.

The whole process felt like a natural disaster, obliterated by the forces of nature.

Queen Azshara's graceful reflection appeared amidst the ruins, her sharp eyes fixed on the wreckage below as she addressed the approaching guards, "Spread the word, capture Elisande and the creature impersonating a Titan envoy!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!" Patrol Captain Veluso gazed at Azshara with adoration, bowing respectfully, "As you command, my will is yours!"

Not only him, but the guards who arrived later also cast fervent looks towards Queen Azshara.

Such a beautiful elf should not exist, for beauty alone should not evoke such fervor.

It is merely an initial attraction what truly captivates is Azshara's exquisite beauty paired with her innate grace!

That regal aura only found in men, the air of a ruler commanding a vast empire exuding nobility and power, akin to women like Wu Zetian, occupying a high position, exuding opulence and strength, a combination that truly ignites fervor.

As the illusion gradually faded, the onlookers reluctantly dispersed.

No one questioned why Elisande had rebelled it was as if they had lost their minds, believing everything Azshara said to be true.

Queen, Your Majesty is always right, everything she says is right, even nonsense smells sweet, even feces smell sweet!

Well, at Azshara's level, one hardly needs to use the restroom anymore.

In the palace, a demon with horns on his head, covered in fur, and hooves for feet, gazed complexly at Queen Azshara before him.

With a slight hesitation, he respectfully bowed and said, "Respected Queen, Your Majesty, N'Zoth has instructed me to deliver a message: the peculiar creature must be captured."

"Why?" Azshara elegantly sipped her wine, the illusion from earlier merely a casual display of magic.

She is the most powerful native creature on the planet of Azeroth, even the two leaders of the Burning Legion, Kil'jaeden and Archimonde, fear her greatly, which is enough to prove Azshara's dominance.

Otherwise, she would not look down on any creature, not even the Titan Keepers and Dragon Aspects.

Pride needs to be supported by talent and strength to be justified. Without strength, pride is not pride, but folly.
