"I need to expel the poison now," Xu Ran replied, finding a place to shelter from the rain to sit cross-legged, pretending to exercise his powers. Then, Xiaowu saw steam rise from his body, as if a black gas was being pushed out from within him.
"Tang San, you're not leaving? What do you want to do? Are you thinking of attacking us?" Xiaowu asked warily, keeping a vigilant eye on Tang San. Just now, Tang San's use of hidden weapons almost cost her and Xu Ran their lives. She dared not underestimate him; otherwise, she wouldn't even know how she died.
"Xiaowu, Xu Ran wasn't hurt at all. He's been deceiving me all along. And I never intended to hurt you, it was all Xu Ran's scheme to drive a wedge between us," Tang San said, heartbroken as he observed Xiaowu's defensive demeanor. How could his heart not ache when Xiaowu, once inseparable from him, was now guarding against him as if he were a bad person?
"Deceiving you? Haha, Tang San, do you think I would still believe your lies? Did Xu Ran ask you to release the hidden weapons too?"

Her eyes blazed with anger as she unleashed her Martial Soul, and two yellow Soul Rings spiraled up around her. Her body shot forward instantly, charging toward Tang San's location.
She lifted her slender leg and kicked at Tang San's head.
"Ah." Tang San cried out in pain, caught off guard, he was sent flying by Xiaowu's kick.
"Xiaowu, what are you doing? You actually attacked me?" Tang San fell to the ground, clutching his cheek where Xiaowu's leg struck him, feeling a burning pain. Xiaowu had held nothing back in her attack.
"Attack you? Haha, if it weren't for some concerns, I really would like to kill you right now," Xiaowu said coldly, her hatred for the familiar figure before her bone-deep.
If it weren't for worrying about Tang Hao, killing Tang San would have enraged him. The moment she knew the truth, she would have killed Tang San directly. Why would she have waited until now?
"Xiaowu, there must be some misunderstandings between us. Xu Ran, that..." Tang San looked at Xiaowu in panic, wanting to explain, but Xiaowu stepped on his face, silencing him with her foot.
Tang San's eyes widened, his face flushed red, wanting to struggle, but Xiaowu pinned his hands down too.

He saw hate in Xiaowu's eyes.

With Xiaowu treating him this way, Tang San could not bear it any longer, and tears streamed down his cheeks.
