Chapter 141: Afterword...not
Start with the important part.
Kenshin is now in HSR with no memories, I have written another 10 or so chapters but I will only resume posting after I write everything left for the whole fic, which is probably going to take months as I'm too burned and want to see what Natlan has to offer.
For those who don't play Genshin, or don't know the dates, Natlan's storyline will be finished around December/January.
He will gradually recover his memories and come back to Teyvat, no doubt about that.

Now that the must-say is out of the way, I am going to rant, but you can just skip it, I won't say anything important.
This whole project started as a way to disconnect from writing another fic about PGR, never expected it to grow to this point.
I was tired of systems/templates/reincarnation/gachas/story drowned in smut/overpowered MC from the start/massive harems with women who just accept it just because, so I tried to do something different. I have nothing against those, but I just don't enjoy them any more after reading the same thing over and over again, just my personal preference.
A fic about a weak boy with a special ability who only wants to have fun while doing what he believes is correct, and I'm satisfied with the result.
I know this is not a fic for everyone, as Kenshin's personality is a bit too histrionic at times, but I like what I wrote.
I wrote Kenshin's life from start to finish, from the unhinged child, to the annoying teenager, to the responsible man, and even knowing that I made a lot of mistakes, with both better and worse chapters, I like the person Kenshin turned up to be.
I know everyone has their own opinion of Kenshin, but in my eyes, he is a sensible man who is willing to do everything for his dear ones, while trying to have fun with admittedly heavy pranks but never intending to hurt anyone.
I tried to make every character 'alive', with their own personalities and quirks, with their own dreams and way of thinking, so in the end, the only thing remaining from the original characters are the looks.
The harem was supposed to be formed by Ei, Yae, Jean, Arlecchino and Yelan, but I guess things happened.
Lastly, I want to say thanks you to all the people who helped, in one way or another.
I know the names of a lot of you who every single day for the past 2 or so months have posted 'Thanks for the chapter' daily, without missing a single day.
I won't write your names one by one, as there are a LOT of people, but I appreciate every single one of you even if I didn't reply or mention it.
Thanks to all the people who supported me on patreon, I honestly didn't expect that many people willing to spend money in a story I wrote as a hobby.
Thanks to everyone who gave the powerstones to support the fic, even if they weren't a priority. I know there are a lot of people who gave them even when they didn't comment on any chapter, but I appreciate it nonetheless and took note of it.
So, with everything said, thanks to all of you, you made me experience something magical that I will always have with me.
Kenshin's story continues, and so will his daughter's, I will change the cover for a few days, as a way of 'celebrating' this pause, not the ending.
