The five points of the Saitan ships in the line lit up at the same time; it was a disturbing sight. However, in the entire allied army, only Odysseus knew the power they had.
When the admiral saw the holographic plan, it was clear that the Saitans were going to fire the weapon on the interception group. However, Odysseus had not chosen the ships of the interception group without any criteria; he had all the details that his godson Eneas had told him, and he knew that as soon as a battle went wrong, the Saitans would gain time by using that technology.
While a huge beam was fired at the group of ships on an interception course, and hundreds of red warnings appeared on the command bridges of the ships of the interception group.
Odysseus saw the distance marker; there was little left to enter the firing range; they only had to resist one attack; the interception group had to survive a round of attacks.
I have happily and finally come to the close of this first Volume of my second novel, Eneas Fate. To all the readers who follow it, all the readers who support it with every vote, with every golden ticket, with every time you add it to your library, and above all with every good, bad or comment you have made, I have to thank you all; you are the reason beyond this little success.
However, the idea of Eneas Fate was born from a subplot of my previous novel "The strongest human is a cheater", an idea so suggestive that a few days before starting the month in which the monthly contest began, where the theme was the uncertain future, nothing more appropriate for a space odyssey, It launched me into writing it.
The fact that the birth comes out of a subplot has allowed me to know exactly where the novel has to go. Also, learning what has not worked in the other novel has allowed me to try a faster pace, more intricate action in the plot, and the development of situations and characters that I think are working at the moment.
However, the great challenge was to comply with a crazy update schedule without having any type of safeguard; there are no accumulated chapters, and while you read I write the next chapter. There is no possibility of correcting the direction in which the novel goes, only a path to follow with you, readers, stepping on my toes.
Likewise, the development of the story and the character needs new challenges, putting him in the line of fire and creating an environment of less security. The story at this point has already inevitably ended; there are no longer things that Eneas can anticipate nor things that Jahve can say.
I won't give spoilers about the next volume, it would take away the fun of it. So let's move on to the thanks and mentions.
