In the moonlight, Arun was able to see some of the features of the midget before him. Unlike the grey-color midget that he had met and hunted so far.
He could see that the midget had green color skin. He was naked and there was loincloth on his crotch area, like the other ones. Instead of pale yellow eyes, this one had red eyes. And as soon as it locked its eyes with him, it started running towards him with a knife in its hand…
The creature jumped on Arun to stab him, but with his increased stats, he had become a powerhouse. He easily intercepted it with his ax and slammed the thing onto the floor. He then swung his hand and thrust his ax in the skull of the said creature instantly killing him…

Name- Curses are nasty things
Description- The Hasth tribe is a tribe of goblins. The Shamans of the tribe specialize in poisons and curses. And you have managed to kill a tribe member, when the whole tribe is under attack, hence activating a curse.
The Goblin Shaman had put a curse on your body. Your body would be poisoned and you will be killed in the next 24 hours.
To cure yourself from the curse, you have to kill the Goblin Shaman of the tribe before the curse can take effect.
Reward- Life
Penalty- Death.

Arun started seething in anger after he read the whole mission description. This was just too much for him to handle. Not only did he have to take care of 5 ton boar and now this?
Calm down, calm down. You need to think straight.
Arun knew that as long he was in forest then the boar will follow him, considering that these guys fighting the boar wouldn't be able to kill the boar. And he couldnt just walk out like that, he was poisoned for fucks sake.
The only option that he has right now, for survival is to kill the Shaman, and the boar while he is at it. And if not the boar, he should try to kill the Shaman. He could take care of the boar later on.
So he then took out the ax from the goblin's skull and looked at the fighting in the distance. Looking at the lights from the fight, he decided to sneak up on them. And then decide which would be his first target…
Silently he started approaching the the battlefield. He made sure that his head was down and he was super quiet. As he got close he started hearing strange screeches, belonging to goblins. To better understand the situation on the battlefield, he climbed up a tree for recon.
It looked like a large campsite from the top. There were various tents in the campsite that now lay in ruins because of the boar. There were no corpses in the area, which told him a lot of things on its own. Based on the destruction and voices that he could hear, the goblins must have lured the big thing out of their campsite.
He also spotted some goblins left in the camp, they were extinguishing the fire other injured goblins. He tried to see whether he could spot some new variant of goblin in the mix, but there was none.
Seeing those goblins, he understood that in order to kill all of them safely and quietly he would need a weapon that he could use from a distance. He would need a bow. Worst comes worst, if he even has to confront them directly, then that also would not be a problem. He had grown a lot stronger than before thanks to his stats.
There is no need to be a hero Arun. Those fuckers use poison. And one cut would be enough for you to lose your life. Let's try to find a bow down there. He was sure that he would be able to recover at least one bow from there.
He counted about a dozen goblins. After double-checking his head count, he came down.
Arun then got off the tree and started moving. He entered the campsite from the south. There were 2 goblins there who were trying to extinguish the fire there. He chose to kill those goblins first as one of them had a bow and arrow with it. The bow that these goblins used was a lot smaller than the one that he was accustomed to. But he was confident that he would be able to handle the small bow with ease.
When he came near, the goblin with a bow was trying to extinguish the fire of a tent with a wet cloth. The other goblin that he saw in the area was not near him. Seeing this as an opportunity, Arun then lunged at the goblin from behind. And before the goblin could react, Arun thrust his ax into the goblin's skul, killing in on the spot

He quickly took the bow and arrow of the goblin. He checked the arrows and saw a black gooey mixture dripping from its arrowhead. Seeing that stuff, Arun assumed that this must be poison. But he was confused as to what kind of poison this was, considering the poison that he saw before was great.
He then took a mental note to be careful of the goblin archers in the future.
It was then he heard the sound of footsteps approaching him. He then immediately raised his bow. Arun then saw that the partner of the goblin that he saw from the tree was walking towards him.
The goblin when spotted Arun, was stunned for a moment from confusion. But before it could scream, he shot an arrow from which pierced it in its belly. The goblin was not able to react and soon died.
And like that, he started moving around the campsite.
