As the sun rose , Annika adorned herself for the henna ceremony, her anticipation palpable in the air. Amidst the rhythmic dances and the gentle strokes of henna, she wore a smile lost in the festivities . When questioned about the groom's name , Annika's sister interjected with a playful banter , prompting laughter and teasing.
As the henna dried, anticipation grew ,and Annika's sister became the centre of attention. Amidst the chatter ,a comment about the darkening henna sparked Annika's defiance . "Mind your own business", she retorted sharply , a flicker of irritation in her eyes . With satisfication as her henna dried, Annika slipped away discreetly , excusing herself to find Alex .
In the living room , Annika found Mrs Royce immersed in wedding preparations . With a warm embrace , Mrs Royce greeted her , but Annika's mind was elsewherr. She needed to find Alex to retrieve her grandmother's earring lost duringbthe dance.
In a sulrising gesture, Alex produced the missing earring, his actions a blend of mystery and intrigue . Annika's gratitude was met with a chilling remark , his touch inflicting pain and closeness simultaneously . Their eyes locked in a charged moment , before Alex's unexpected compliment left Annika wildered .
With a swift motion , Annika reclaimed her earring and retreated, the encounter leaving her heart racing and mind swirling with unanswered questions.
