Everyone saw the enemy turn himself into a frozen statue that soon turned to icy dust leaving only a pocket watch.
Asta who saw the whole thing was beyond angry,"HOW CAN ANYONE BE WILLING TO THROW AWAY THEIR LIVES LIKE THAT?!!!"
Arata who understood where asta was coming from patted his friend on the should which made asta turn to him,"well his body may be gone but he won't be going away Scott free,just sit back and watch." Arata said while a magic circle formed on the area the man died on,and from the circle a giant obsidian gate appeared before them,its size being three meters tall and decorated with grim reapers holding scythes and a severed head in a bag,
Soon the door opened and a chained up man fell out and the magic knights were shocked to see the ghostly form of the recently deceased enemy.

The now ghostly man opened his eyes and was shocked,"hold on…I thought I died…so how did I come back?!" At which he heard a sinister chuckle from Arata.
"Did you really think I would let you go that easily without answers,sorry but your soul was mine the moment you died,so answer my question." As Arata said this his voice then spoke in a way that made everyone's blood chill."

The man who heard the question was beyond horrified,he didn't expect such a young child to have such a terrifying aura,'not even master Vetto could make such an aura…he's dangerous!' The man thought to himself.
Arata who saw he was scared decided to look at the pocket watch on the ground and saw a symbol that made him smile," well now I didn't know you were a noble!",at which the ghostly man looked at the man,but what he heard next made his now ghostly heart stop cold,"so it looks like you work for…the eye of the midnight sun!" Arata said before looking at the man," you made a lot of people suffer,so I think I'll make you feel their pain!" At which Arata grabbed the mans ghostly face and spoke," look into my eyes,your soul will burn with the pain you inflicted!" At which the ghostly man started screaming like a banshee,as his soul caught on fire burning him to ashes.

Everyone who saw this were horrified,with only two exceptions.
"Wow so cool!!!" Asta said while looking at his fellow squad mate .
"Wow so my cousin really did make Arata strong…I need to catch up!" Noelle muttered while here eyes lit up with determination.
"Judge,jury and executioner,this dude is a monster…I'm honestly glad he's on our side " magma said while holding the now healed up village chief.
Manga noticing the chief wasn't waking up yelled at Arata," hey Arata the chief's body is healed but he still hasn't woken up!! Do you have any other magic that may help?!!"
Arata understood why magna wanted Arata to save the old man,so he nodded and his grimoire and gun manifested.
"When life is at hand…the souls shall stand…all life shall be spared by this sacrificial lamb!! Release restraint level nineteen."
At the end of the chant Arata shot a mana bullet into the heart of the old man,and in doing so Arata's head exploded showing a boar ghost getting torn apart before his head came back.

The old man soon opened his eyes and looked at everyone who were crying at the sight before them," wait wasn't is dea-" he never got to finish his sentence as his grandkids and magna all jumped onto him crying with joy about the miracle they had witnessed.
Soon after the entire village made the black bulls some food as thanks,and Arata got a magic stone from the chief on his request as thanks for healing and saving him from death.
Arata then turned and went to his squad mates and never looked back.
