Bang! Bang! Bang!
Three bullets sliced through the air, finding their mark with a satisfying clang as they knocked over the trio of tin cans perched on the weathered rock. Don cheered like crazy, pumping his fists in the air after hitting his shots. As Logan had said, they had to practice shooting from a distance to stay safe from being bitten. But for Kia, that was the hardest part.
"Bull's-eyes," Don said happily, waving the gun in the air. Then he turned to face Kia, who stood there like he didn't want to be there. "You see, kid, that's how you shoot." He chuckled and handed the gun to Logan.
"Aren't you worried that this might attract the wrong attention?" Kia asked, raising an important question. They were in the middle of nowhere, standing in a large clearing.
