Evelyn Ford was overjoyed, her smile so broad it seemed her mouth couldn't close. Seeing his grandmother so delighted about the child's impending arrival filled Nathan with a sense of contentment.

Having crossed the age of thirty, Nathan himself was in no rush, but the elder Fords were eager for Ava to conceive soon to continue the Ford family line.

Now that Ava was pregnant, even if some were dissatisfied with her, they would likely refrain from being too harsh, considering the child's sake.

"Grandma, there's no need to hurry. Let's discuss these matters after Ava has safely secured her pregnancy," Nathan advised, temporarily declining Grandma Ford's request due to two concerns: Ava's current physical condition and her ongoing upset with him.

Grandma Ford agreed with a chuckle, then remembered the news of Ava's pregnancy.
