Chapter 60: Chapter 60 Meeting
After school, Sasuke carried his schoolbag and walked on a recently familiar road, thinking about how to deal with any potential challenges from his sensei, Logan later.
As he turned a corner, the street scene came into clear view, and Sasuke paused in surprise to see Logan leaning against a door, smiling as if he had been waiting for Sasuke's arrival.
'Hmph, it seemed that today's task would be very difficult.' Sasuke approached Logan with a determined stride, determined not to lose no matter how tough it might be.
"Logan-sensei."
"I'm here." Logan greeted with a nod as Sasuke approached. Sasuke noticed that Logan's expression was different from usual, and he glanced at the Ninja Bag behind Logan's waist, noticing that he wasn't wearing casual clothes.
"I have a mission, and I need to leave immediately." Logan said straight to the point. He's almost ready to go, except for putting on a mask. He had already been delayed, and his purpose now was simply to give Sasuke some explanations.
Sasuke nodded instinctively, "Oh."
Thinking of something, Sasuke continued, "The 'homework' from last week..."
"Let's talk about it next time when I return." Logan said quickly, "I'll probably be out for quite some time this time."
With that said, Logan stepped out, hurrying up to save time. Walking towards a tall tree about fifteen meters high, he said, "I'll leave one more homework for you. Pay attention."
Although he had known for a long time that there would be such a situation, Sasuke still felt a little empty for some reason. Watching Logan walk towards the tall cypress tree with tangled roots, Sasuke had no choice but to focus his attention.
"Mastering the details of chakra control is crucial in real combat." Logan stepped on the trunk of the tree, and then followed up with the other foot. His whole body suddenly tilted, and the trunk became his foothold, parallel to the ground.

When Logan was already near the treetop, he marked a line with a kunai before jumping off and landing on the ground.
"Do you understand?"
Sasuke looked at Logan's seemingly casual demeanor, then glanced at the towering tree, nearly five stories high. The faint mark left by the kunai on the trunk was somewhat glaring.
He secretly clenched his fist, 'As expected, I still have much room for improvement.' Facing Logan, who seemed wanted to depart, Sasuke said, "Logan-sensei, isn't this tree a little low?"
Logan was momentarily surprised, then unceremoniously patted Sasuke's head, "You're quite the pretender, brat. If you fall and don't break anything, I'll give you credit for that."
With the matters settled, Logan felt relieved and said, "Sensei is very busy and time is precious, so I'm leaving first."
Sasuke rubbed the spot where he was patted, watching Logan with displeasure. Before he could say anything else, Logan had already used a Body Flicker Technique to vanish from this place.
'It seems like it's a very urgent mission. But why wait at the door? Leaving a note would have sufficed.' Sasuke thought to himself. He glanced once again at the nearby robust tree, its age far surpassing his own, its lush branches covering half the sky. As the wind gently swayed its leaves, the rustling sound seemed to envelop him.

Outside Konoha Village, the sun had nearly set, reducing visibility. Nine ANBU dressed in sleek Ninja attires and wearing masks, waited at the edge of the forest for ten minutes.
Among the nine people, there was a clear division into three groups of three with each group standing closer together. As colleagues heading out together, coordinating between teams was undoubtedly the most effective and direct method.
A tall, bald man sat on a branch extending from a nearby tree, tapping his foot impatiently. Finally, unable to contain himself any longer, he spoke up: "Why hasn't that one person arrived yet? It's been ten minutes past the scheduled time."

Logan flickered in front of a group of ANBU like a ghost, bringing with him a gust of wind. After he stopped, he quickly waved his hand, "I'm sorry, I'm late, I'm sorry..."

Another team captain approached. He's a sturdy-looking man of slightly shorter stature, "We are Team 2, Captain, Minamino Shuichi."
"Team 3, Captain, Hatake Kakashi."
Logan glanced at the person who had caught his attention earlier, and didn't expect him to be Kakashi, 'What a coincidence. He probably would be leaving the ANBU soon, under the recommendation of the Third Hokage, to focus on leading a team of Genin and refining his own character. Unfortunately, before Naruto and the others graduated, no student could pass his rigorous tests.'
Seeing that everyone else had finished introducing themselves, Logan also took a step forward, "Team 4, Captain, Raiden Hattori."
In the ANBU, it was customary to use code names. However, since they would be working together for a while, they might as well address each other by name.
