After dinner, Layla settled us in a small villa, and it looked newly built. General Cecile, Iris, and Daeva stayed in another villa near the town.

As we lay in bed, sleep eluded me and Emmet asked, "What is it?"

I narrated to him about going up Sith Mountain and communicating with the mountains the duty I was given and the pledge that I made.

Emmet sat up on the bed and asked, "So your plan to go to Clique Mountain before dawn?"

"Yes," I nodded.

"I will accompany you" He asserted.
