I stood by the prison office with Daeva as we stared at General Cecile's tall and commanding figure, with a robust and muscular build that reflected her years of military training.

Even though she wore prison garb she carried herself with the same proud posture. She stood staring at the metal doors as her piercing gray eyes showed a mix of defiance and regret.

"I would like to have trained her to work for me "Daeva whispered.

"She cannot be tamed "I responded.

I watched her keenly as her demeanor was one of subdued bitterness and contemplation. Despite the confinement, she maintained an air of dignified stance though it was clear that the weight of her circumstances had taken its toll. Last night the guard reported that when she heard that her mother had been defeated and captured, she cried silently, shocking the night guards who watched her.
