Chapter 198: A NEW AGREEMENT

After the rain stopped falling, we remained at the border to see if there would be another attack but none came. Hence we left the East Border, went to the barracks to check on everything, and found that Lord Blackwin was still in the same position that we left him.

" Take him back to the prison," Maxwell instructed. " All the vampires they sent to rescue you are all dead" Lord Blackwin''s eyes remained cast downward as the guards dragged him to the jail cell. 

" Come on, let us all go to the council hall " General Emmet spoke up and we left the barracks and made our way to the Elisera council hall. Once we were seated, Drusilla and the Commanders and Guard Boris were the last to join us. 

"Maxwell, you outdid yourself" Lord Niko teased him.

"You jest your majesty; I only did what I am called to do "Maxwell blushed, and Emmet winked at him.

"How did you do it?" Luna Charon asked him with piqued interest.
