Maxwell, Claudio, and Jasper had left for Elisera after the coven council meeting, and Silas, Talon, Cedric and I moved to the chambers for early dinner. Our eyes were glued to Cedric as we watched him with keen interest and wondered how he had made Grim cry and confess to everything.

"I can feel all your stares and the wheels in your heads are turning. So ask what you need to ask and let's get this over and done "Cedric spoke up.

"How did you do it?" Talon leaned back and tapped the table.

"I have always had this power since I was born. I can occupy anyone's mind link and push pain into their bloodstream. Excruciating pain." He confessed.

"Mind link?" Talon gasped.

"Pain, through the bloodstream?" Silas stared at Cedric in shock.
