Chapter 135: Chapter 135 I Am Very, Very Upset

Caroline looked at her watch and said, "There's still ten seconds left. If you can hand your proposal in within these few seconds, you can remain in the planning department. If you don't, you may resign."

"Miss Simons, you don't think what I said made sense?" Karen asked with confidence. 

Caroline, however, did not bother looking at her. She started counting down right away, "You have eight seconds left, seven, six, five..."

Karen knew that Caroline was a woman true to her word. Plus, she really didn't want to leave the planning department. She couldn't let Caroline remain as the director of the department so easily!

Thinking of this, Karen hurriedly emailed her proposal.

It was a text-only proposal so it took her approximately one second to upload the file. 

When Caroline counted down to one, the email was sent successfully!
