Chapter 306: 306: The warning

When they all returned to the Alex estate, there was a tense silence. Grand Duke Lucius remained quiet, but everyone knew he had caught on to what was happening.

The face he was this quite did not sit well with most maids.

"Do you often enjoy dining out like this, Grand Duke? It's a pity I didn't know about this beforehand; I could have ordered the best dishes for you to enjoy in your room."

Promethea's voice, tinged with regret, filled the room. 'If only I had known, Grand Duke, I would have prepared the most exquisite dishes for you to savour in your quarters.' 

Then, Sui realised something - Promethea had not caught on to what was happening.

Or maybe she did, but she wanted to pretend she had not.

"Hmm, I occasionally go out and munch on the local food. But I wanted to go out this badly this time because your food stank. You might want to do a thorough check of your ingredients."

Lucius's words made many mad and angry.
