Chapter 255: 255: New assignment

Grand Duke Lucius barely kept himself from asking more questions once he noticed he was still in public company. 

He quickly regained his composure, straightened his back, adjusted his attire, and looked at the people before him with his usual bored expression.

"Ah, yes! Please lead us inside now. I would also like to greet your emperor. Would that be alright?"

The Grand Duke inquired in a polite voice.

His expression had drained of all the excitement from before, and he looked bored again. It was almost impossible to associate him with the person from before.

"Ah, of course! I will let our emperor know what you have requested, and I am sure our emperor will be more than happy to meet you all alone."
