"I've been here for a while, and you were nowhere to be found."
"You said I could go wherever I wanted."
Davien let out a loud sigh. "I didn't say you couldn't. I was just wondering where you've been. Can't I even ask you that?"
Bel gave him a stern gaze. "If you get out of my way, I'll tell you."
"Okay," he said and stepped aside, not completely but enough for her to go through the doors without any issue. Bel looked at the space and then back at him.
"What?" he asked. "Not enough?" He smirked, still leaning a shoulder against the doorway.
"I am not about to try and squeeze through simply because you don't understand etiquette."
"Etiquette?" He laughed. "Bel, there is more than enough space for you to walk through the door."
"I don't see the reason why you must remain at the door. This act seems pretty deliberate, orchestrated to get on my nerves."
