"I... I thought everything was done perfectly this time," An Xueqi said softly, her disheveled hair hanging over her face as she continually wept. "Mom, where's Dad? Let Dad go and beg her."
"Your father," Zhou Shiran said, full of complaints. "Do you still think you can rely on your father?"
"What am I supposed to do?" An Xueqi kept clutching her head in desperation.
"I'm already trying to figure something out for you, don't panic," Zhou Shiran said, patting her daughter's hand through the wire mesh.
