Chapter 45: Introductions.

The following morning, Delaney woke up hungrier than she had ever been, and she didn't even bathe as she went to the dining room. She was still groggy despite having slept for a whole day and night, and she almost knocked her head on the wall as she walked to the staircase.

After descending the stairs, Delaney saw Keir coming from the other side and her feet suddenly felt heavy. She became aware of her own body as she remembered she wasn't wearing anything underneath the dress. Trying to control her reactions and expressions, Delaney just hoped that he wouldn't notice anything because it would be very awkward.
