Chapter 37: Important things.

Hazel reported to her duty as usual, completely unaware of the Crown Prince's current mood towards her. She stood outside the dining hall on one side of the door, Ace on the other one.

"Don't you think we're spending too much time with each other?" He suddenly asked and Hazel turned to him with a frown, clearly confused as to where the question came from. Ace wasn't even looking at her and had his eyes on the wall opposite him.

Hazel racked her brain for a retort or an answer, but nothing came to mind because she didn't understand.

Seeing her confusion, Ace rolled his eyes and sighed. "Where are you going to live?" He asked, an attempt to shift the topic and erase the awkwardness.

"I'm not sure yet. But I'd rather be anywhere than in a small room with three other men," Hazel responded, her jaw clenching.

Ace frowned. "Is it that bad, really?"
