Chapter 24: You Are Such A Wonderful Son-In-Law

Outside, Ross, who spoke with someone over the phone, quickly ended the conversation when he saw his parents and future in-laws exiting the patient room without his little brother. 

Anxious, he asked. "Mom, where's Shaun?" 

"Oh, you're here." Keira smiled and gestured at her son to join them on the sofa. Once they all settled in, she then replied to his query. "Shaun volunteered to accompany Yonah to attend to her needs." 

"Huh? He's supposed to be at the academy and review his lessons. Their test was scheduled for next week. He promised he would do better this semester." 

Ross's heart vehemently objected without knowing. He wasn't happy to hear that and failed to conceal his displeasure, which surprised Keira. 

She presumes her perception was wrong, but she noticed Ross had been complaining a lot lately regarding his brother's actions.
