Chapter 48: The Cult Gathers

While Nimrod made plans within plans to deal with Fate, along with the church joining in on the fun, Bishop Gary Oldman had already come up with a second solid gold roof for his church. It was replaced in only two days' time due to the generous donations of the traitorous nobles who were supposed to be serving Fate.

In a deep and growing underground world now so massive that a city was beginning to form inside it, we could see thousands of members of Phoenix Rising worshipping a giant statue of Fate Grimsever that stood hundreds of feet tall. It was made with many of the most valuable treasures ever seen on the continent of Vale.

Sitting on an altar in front of this giant statue of their god, the Phoenix Lord, were two women who were discussing matters related to Phoenix Rising with their various subordinates within the cult.
